I had a wonderful experience at LeDon Donburi! The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff was super friendly & made us feel welcome. The cozy vibe & anime-themed decor added a fun touch to the evening. Highly recommended if you're craving authentic Japanese rice bowls in Montreal!Voir plus
A bit on the upscale/ expensive side, but dining in made it worth it for the atmosphere & hospitality. The food was very delicious & authentic tasting. Very friendly & educational service from the staff, learned a lot about the food & culture. Would recommend to Japan culture enthusiasts.Voir plus
Expérience incroyable, les plats sont succulents & les serveurs très sympas !! Je recommande vraimentVoir plus
japanese-inspired, small, cozy spot in mile end - i had the special-of-the-week don with pork belly nuggets & spicy shichimi mayo sauce. very delicious, strong spiciness! would personally appreciate more vegetable with more acidic flavours to balance out the quality amount of the crispy deep-fried meat. & perhaps the small soup spoon was a bit awkward to eat rice with in a tall donburi bowl (wanted to ask the staff about this but was feeling a bit introverted that day sorry).
staff was very friendly & attentive the whole time!Voir plus
They make relatively good food & it had a rather authentic izakaya feel. The rice is good quality & well cooked & they have a good umami mix of flavor in their Donburis. I was a little disappointed that their tonkatsu was not fluffy & a little overcooked to dryness, but at least the bowl made up for that in flavors & quality ingredients.Voir plus
Super petit resto ! Le tonkatsu, poulet karaage , croquettes de pieuvre & croquettes de pomme de terre sont un mustVoir plus
This place was such an amazing experience. We didn't have a reservation (on a Friday night), so we waited outside & finally got a table. The host was lovely; even gave us complimentary drinks to warm us up 🥹. The food was some of the best donburi I've ever eaten, & their hot sauces? Oh you NEED to try them. Boyfriend & I will be repeat customers for sure (& we will call to make a reservation next time 💖)!!!Voir plus
Bonne nourriture authentique Japonaise. L'un des meilleurs resto japonais à Montréal. J'avais l'impression d'être de retour au Japon. De plus les prix sont raisonnables, j'y retourneraiVoir plus
Vraiment bon & Éric & Charles sont un très bon duo 😄Voir plus
Very small & cozy space, tasty food but the portions are a bit on the smaller side.Voir plus
Personnel extrêmement sympathique & très'aidant'. Cuisine excellente. Ambiance de (tout) petit restaurant japonais très conviviale.Voir plus

I went for the first time along with my mom & brother & we all loved it.
In terms of cuisine it felt fulfilling, we enjoyed our Takoyaki, Nanami fries, Korokke, Unadon & Gyudon fervently.
The service & employees were all very nice & we had some great conversations throughout our time there. I would enjoy getting to return with other groups of friends there.Voir plus
Charles & Alex were kind, charming, & very welcoming. LeDon offers a delightful combination of great food & a fun atmosphere. The decor is cozy & warm, & each unique dish is a creative reinvention of classic Japanese fare. This restaurant is a must-try in Montréal!Voir plus
You know a place knows what's up when you see One Piece posters on the walls. Jokes aside, LeDon Donburi truly surprised me. Every dish was amazing. It was my first time trying donburi & I felt like I was getting a true taste of Japan (even though I haven't been there yet, but I will in a couple of months!). The staff are so passionate about what they do. You can really tell they put their hearts & souls into everything. Shoutout to Alex, Eric, & the rest of the crew! Y'all are great people. I'll definitely be back!!Voir plus
Very welcoming homey place with great food. The pork was a little overdone & dry but hopefully better next time. The agedashi tofu was in 1 large piece so was still cold in the middle - I like mine smaller & hot. Very tasty though. Everything was delicious!Voir plus
