Attention à la terrasse en fin de soirée cependant, il se peut que les éboueurs passent & déposent des déchets proche du restaurant qui empestent l'air.
Une superbe expérience au Vin Papillon pour mon anniversaire ! ✨ Le service est impeccable & l'ambiance vraiment unique : la cuisine ouverte, la lumière tamisée au coucher du soleil… ça crée une atmosphère incroyable. Les plats à partager regorgent de saveurs, surtout accompagnés d'un bon vin. Petit bémol : c'est assez bruyant, donc pas toujours évident de discuter. Mais dans l'ensemble, une adresse à ne pas manquer !
Service vraiment décevant (Antoine, notre serveur). Nourriture sans plus. Nous sommes vraiment déçus, ce n'était pas du tout à la hauteur de nos attentes. On se croirait à la cabane à sucre
We really wanted to love this place but the experience was really bumpy- for the price & the serving size things would need to be smoother.
Our waitress clearly had opinions about what we should order but she voiced them AFTER we ate mediocre dishes.
The stuffed squash blossoms were lovely, the tomatoes & haddock- also exquisite- & if the dinner had continued on this note all would have been divine…. but then a tiny mysterious leek patty arrived that was utterly blah…& a tiny, singular, dry chicken thigh (two bites each between us) served with a bizarre pile of sunflower seeds.
The worst part of the meal was the rock hard (could barely cut with a steak knife), dry, burned shortcake that came with only a sprinkling of strawberries to mask the acrid, tough dough.
After so much good food in Montreal - it was hard to spend so much on a'special' meal & have it be so disappointing.

YUM YUM YUM - the Laitue (salad dish) was hands down the best salad I have ever eaten in my life. I believe the menu is often changing so you may not get to try it but the quality of the food is just sensational. Kudos for the service staff for helping us close up our tab & get out quickly when our baby started to have a meltdown - they were just so friendly :) Thank you.
La qualité se laissait transparaître autant dans la cuisine, le service & l'ambiance. Les plats étaient délectables, recherchés & originaux. Vin papillon mérite pleinement sa recommandation par le Guide Michelin.
Definitely my favourite restaurant in the city. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. The crudo & tartare were to dieee for. Seriously never had a tartare like this one. Staff was super nice too. Definitely not the first to highly recommend & definitely will not be the last. Can't wait to come back
