Une perle de Montréal. Du service à l'originalité des plats, tout y es pour faire de cette endroit un incontournable. Les prix sont appropriés, la qualité de la nourriture est à tomber par terre. Seul bémol, on est assis très serré les uns contre les autres.

Mon seul bémol, le choix de plats végétariens pourrait être plus grand, mais somme toute je recommande sans hésitation !

La qualité se laissait transparaître autant dans la cuisine, le service & l'ambiance. Les plats étaient délectables, recherchés & originaux. Vin papillon mérite pleinement sa recommandation par le Guide Michelin.
Definitely my favourite restaurant in the city. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. The crudo & tartare were to dieee for. Seriously never had a tartare like this one. Staff was super nice too. Definitely not the first to highly recommend & definitely will not be the last. Can't wait to come back

Nous sommes arrivés à l'ouverture un samedi soir, sans réservation, & avons été accueillis avec un grand sourire par la gérante :'J'adore les walk-ins!', nous a-t-elle lancé avec enthousiasme. Installés au bar, toute l'équipe nous a salués chaleureusement, & Antoine a pris soin de nous dès les premières minutes.
J'ai adoré qu'il prenne le temps de nous demander si c'était notre première visite - l'approche était vraiment adaptée à notre niveau de familiarité avec le resto. Il nous a présenté les spéciaux avec passion, a observé nos réactions pour personnaliser ses recommandations : il a su créer une ambiance à la fois détendue & attentionnée.
Pour le vin orange, il est revenu avec trois bouteilles, toutes décrites avec clarté & expertise. Il a même validé la qualité du vin avant de nous le servir - un détail qui en dit long sur leur souci du détail. Tout au long du repas, le rythme était parfait, nos verres toujours remplis, les plats bien espacés, & le service fluide, collaboratif & sans fausse note.
J'ai particulièrement apprécié l'attention aux petits détails : changement d'ustensiles entre les services, nettoyage discret, personnel toujours souriant, engagé, & vraiment'présent'. Même le bussboy a pris le temps d'échanger quelques mots avec nous.
Nous avons fait quelques demandes personnalisées (shooters, cafés), toujours accueillies avec plaisir. & que dire de la playlist? Parfaite du début à la fin, autant dans le style que le volume.
On se sent au Vin Papillon comme un invité, pas un client. Merci à toute l'équipe pour cette soirée exceptionnelle. Vous formez une brigade en or! ✨
Nous avons passé un bon moment au Vin Papillon. La nourriture était très bonne, jambon & fromage surprend par sa simplicité, les gnocchis au crabe sont succulents, & le crudo de pétoncles est aussi très bon. Nous avons eu un bon service & de bonnes recommandations également.

Mon nouveau resto préféré! Le service a été impeccable, les plats ont du caractère, le goût est juste & l'ensemble est cuisiné avec des aliments de grande qualité. À prendre sans faute : plat de jambon & fromage & les pommes de terre dauphines avec moules. En dessert, je recommande sans hésiter le sandwich crème glacée! Merci Vin Papillon 🦋
Une véritable expérience culinaire à ne pas manquer. Les saveurs étaient parfaitement équilibrées & chaque plat était un délice (crudo de pétoncles, jambon & fromage, escargots, champignons au charbon & gâteau aux carottes). Le service était également très agréable & professionnel. Je recommande vivement cet endroit !
Had an absolutely amazing dining experience at this restaurant!! Came here for dinner (3 people) & the staff & our server was just so wonderful & friendly. The vibes inside the restuarant is cozy & has a warmth to it. The decor is also pretty to look at.
The menu is written in all French (I can't speak or understand French), however, our server was so kind & gracious to go through each dish on the menu (one-by-one) & tell us the ingredients of the meal in English. He gave us recommendations & we ordered those items. I cannot express enough how lush each dish tasted. It was packed full of flavour with different textures & everything was just so delightful! You can really taste the craftsmanship of how the food was cooked & presented. For three people - five dishes were enough to share. The portion sizes were great & you can always add more if you're still hungry. I am definitely coming back here again & I highly highly recommend for people to stop by this restaurant if you are ever in Montreal.
Cute date spot. Highly recommend going with a reservation. The menu is supposed to constantly change. Classic French with a bit of a twist. Definitely a go to if you like to order a bunch of different small plates to share. Get the dessert. The carrot cake ice cream cake with toffee dripping was amazing. Would go back just to have that again.

Had a wonderful experience last night. Our waiter was super helpful with recommending drinks & food. We asked him to surprise us with our meal & everything was 10/10. Highly recommend. Get the jamon dish!!!!!
Super romantic diner with very great menu - even for us vegetarian ! Staff were really profesh & friendly, had a very great time & will highly recommend.
Amazing menu with top notch service! The ambiance is on point & their bottle list is extensive & deep. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an intimate dinner spot!
Amazing service, really lovely wines, & the food was fantastic. We went with the ham & cheese that had a brown butter (absolutely delicious) along with the fresh bread, the chili green beans & rosemary butter mushrooms - all stood out on their own. We ate at the bar & the service was excellent! Highly recommend - & be sure to make a reservation.

I brought my family to this place because a friend recommended it. Fantastic food , small plates to share , excellent service & great atmosphere! We all loved it ! Will come back next time we are in Montreal.
This place has amazing food & a really cozy vibe. Their dishes are perfect for sharing with friends. The server recommended that we get six dishes for our group of 3, & it was just the right amount. & the dessert was out of this world - we had a heavenly chef's special: a carrot cake ice cream sandwich with toffee. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to hang out with friends & enjoy good food & drinks.
Very disappointed! This restaurant is way over rated just because it belongs to owners of Joe beef so we thought it should be good. We went there during the week hoping to get a table fairly quick ( there is no reservation).No body acknowledged for 10-15 minutes. Then we were told that it would take up to 30 minutes to get a table. Since the restaurant was busy, we thought it might be worth waiting. It took 1Hour 15 minutes! While standing right at the entrance, we decided to order red wine & make our waiting less painful. We were offered 3 types of red wine without any menu to know the make & the year or the price. We ordered pinot noir, very average. Later when we paid the bill we realized that very average pinot noir was 16$ per glass. The staff were very young & inexperienced.The food was tapas style. We ordered Rapini salad, very salty, Guinea Fowl thigh very plain presentation ( just a thigh & liquid sauce on top of it) salty again & a cauliflower dish wayyyy too citrusy.
Don't recommend to anyone who cares about good wine, good food & good service.
