I was there yesterday with my whole family.i really like the vegetarian food we had though the gesture of staff was very humble specifically when they greet us namaste with joining hands.

Dining at The Swaad was an absolute delight!
From the first bite to the last, every dish was bursting with authentic flavor - truly a treat for the taste buds. The ambiance was warm, subtle, & inviting, perfectly complemented by soothing music & elegant decor that made the experience even more memorable.
The staff? Exceptionally sweet & attentive, making you feel genuinely welcomed.
It's the kind of place you'll find yourself wanting to visit every week - & honestly, you should.

Great experience at Le Swaad !
We ordered the mutton biryani - it was flavorful & satisfying.
The garlic bread & butter naan were especially impressive: soft, fresh, & super tasty.
We also tried the samosa chaat, which was quite good.
Overall, a very pleasant dining experience. Would definitely come back!
Nous avons eu une expérience très agréable chez Swaad. Nous sommes rendus un samedi après 14h30 après l'heure normale de dîner mais l'hôtesse nous a bien acceuilli & nous a donné une table vite. Les repas aussi étaient servi vite après nous avons fait le commande. Le goût de chaque repas était bon. Les kebabs, le naan, le biryani. Nous étions vraiment satisfait.
Amazing food & best restaurant in south shore. Ambiance is good as well. I would like to recommend this restaurant for parties too.

The food here was good. We ordered a few things & were happy with it.
There is a stage area in the restaurant, i am guessing it is for events? There is a bike there too.
I asked the staff about it, she wasn't sure.
So i am making up my own story here…. Lol
The only acceptable answer for why is there a bike in the restaurant? is'the owner rode on it to Canada all the way from India a long long time ago with $20 in his pocket & a dream to open a restaurant' there!
Would go back here for sure.

Unacceptable Food Quality - Fix This or Shut Down!
Dear [Swaad restaurant 👎👎],
I've been a loyal customer, but **this was the worst experience ever!** The naan was **raw & burnt**-how is that even possible?! The butter chicken was **mediocre at best**. Is this how you treat regulars? **Either improve immediately or just close your kitchen**-because this was an embarrassment.
Not only in South Shore but one of the best restaurants in Montreal Metropolitan Area. The food is delicious & the interior is beautiful. Since we found this restaurant in South Shore, we never had to go to Montreal to get good food. Highly recommended.
Aucune musique à notre arrivée. Les decorations de st-valentin sont encore accrochées sur les murs en ce 29 mars.
Nous etions les seuls clients dans le restaurant. La serveuse parle uniquement anglais. Le service est ordinaire. Le propriétaire est venu nous voir au moins 4 fois pour nous demander si tout était beau alors qu'on ne demandait absolument rien & c'était limite dérangeant.
La nourriture était bonne. Nous avons pris un byriani poulet au beurre & un byriani pannee. Je n'ai pas reçu un byriani au beurre comme demandé, mais un autre type de byriani au poulet. C'était bon, mais tout de même pas le plat que j'ai demandé. Pour l'autre plat, nous avons demandé le plat un peu épicé (au lieu de très fort). La serveuse a confirmé que la cuisine pouvait le faire doux. Nous avons reçu un plat TRES TRES fort!
Malheureusement, pas une belle expérience pour nous.
We stopped in at Swaad for dinner on a whim as we were passing. This may be our new go-to reataurant for Indian food. Very welcoming staff, nice atmosphere, good service & great food.
