Excellent restaurant sur la Rue Prince Arthur où je suis allée le 07 novembre dans le cadre du Festival Mtl à Table:
Ambiance bistrot, grandes baies vitrées donnant sur la rue piétonne.
Pour ma part, j'ai mangé:
FOIE GRAS DE CANARD AU TORCHON MAISON, COMPOTEE DE FIGUES & MIEL D'ETE, PAIN BRIOCHE
DUO DE TARTARES TERRE & MER, BOEUF BIO DE LA FERME VALENS & SAUMON DE L'ATLANTIQUE, FRITES & SALADE VERTE
CLAFOUTIS AUX BLEUETS SAUVAGES DU LAC-SAINT-JEAN
L'amie qui m'accompagnait a commencé à aller là il y a 15 ans environ. Les plats qu'elle a choisi étaient également délicieux:
BLANQUETTE DE VEAU DE NOTRE GRAND-MERE
POT DE CREME AU CHOCOLAT MI-AMER CACAO BARRY, SPECULOOS EMIETTES & BASILIC THAÏ (DEFI CACAO BARRY)
La blanquette était délicieuse, parait-il, & quoi dire de la saveur du chocolat venant dans un pot tellement généreux que tout amateur de chocolat sera parfaitement comblé.
Qualité & finesse des plats, portion généreuse, service impeccable & le personnel est vraiment accueillant.
Un revenez-y. absolument!!!

The restaurant is too small, the tables are very small. It is uncomfortable to eat & drink because of the size of the table. Also the place is very noisy.

We went for the Mtlatable week. I had the veal stew which was just okay. It didn't have much of a taste. The duck my friend had was good. We were 6 people & all in all it was just okay.

Accueil chaleureux, ambiance agréable & excellent service. Les mets du premier service étaient tous succulents. Les plats principaux également, à l'exception du magret de canard, bien que savoureux, il était plus ou moins tendre. Le petit pot de chocolat Barry au dessert était sublime ! Dans l'ensemble, nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre soirée au restaurant Le Square & comptons bien y retourner.

The fact that we had to be out of there at 8.00 pm makes-it a 3 stars ,food was ok ,I had the veal grand maman ,nothing to call home about .
