Le Square specializes in contemporary French cuisine characterized by a focus on market-fresh ingredients and meticulous culinary execution. The menu centers on elevated preparations of raw proteins, with a specific emphasis on diverse tartare selections that define the restaurant signature identity. Seasonal produce dictates the rotating offerings, ensuring that each plate reflects the current harvest with precision and clarity. The interior environment emphasizes a functional and clean aesthetic that mirrors the straightforward approach to ingredient sourcing. Culinary techniques remain rooted in classic French methodology while incorporating modern textures to provide a distinct palate experience. Diners engage with a menu that prioritizes the integrity of raw materials through focused seasoning and disciplined plating. Every component served reflects a dedication to technical consistency and high-quality sourcing standards across all primary menu items.
Le Square has received negative feedback regarding the quality of its steak, which was described as tough and unappealing. Past dining experiences highlighted significant disappointment with the overall meal and a limited selection of desserts, though there is potential that standards have evolved over time.
came here with my hubs for date night. I had an awesome filet mignon & crazy good leeks/potatoes? husband had a Bavette which was delicioso my friends!!
service is awesome. I ordered a dessert which was not up to par(over cooked) & the server recognized immediately & apologized & did not charge us a penny for it.
I will definitely go back. what a treat!

Ok.. So let's start with the positive. The service was adequate enough. Restaurant was at 50 % capacity & therefore we received fair attention. I ordered a velouté d'haricot blanc avec sirop d'erable & bacon crousillant. Wow! He should have said velouté de sirope d'erable avec haricot! It was way way too sweet & felt really like dessert. I had to add quite a bit of salt to balance out all the sweetness. Then came the tartare. It was a regular tartare. Nothing to go running home about. & finally the main dish. Not good. It was the lamb osso buco. I would have been embarrassed to serve such a dish. First things first, the lamb were these three tough hard little pieces & the meat did not fall off the bone the way a slow cooked osso buco should fall off. This meat was served in a bowl accompanied by plain bland tagliatelle that must have beenprecooked early in the morning & passed under boiling water for thirty seconds. It had absolutely no spring to it. Just horrible. It sat in the bowl with a little watered down juice from the osso buco- could be that the water even came from the pasta not being well drained. Anyhow dessert was good. Had this crispy caramel mousse. We would have liked a percolated coffee but again there, impossible. Had to serve us "un caffé a l'americain" which was a extra long watered down espresso. & lastly, at ten thirty, the place turned into a club. I assumed that the waiter was friends with a table of 10 ppl close to the kitchen & he started playing very horribly loud music to the point that we couldn't hear ourselves speak. We endured this for at least 20 minutes until we were annoyed to no end. So we wanted to leave, but we kept looking at the direction of the counter & although we we're acknowledge by I think the bartender, we still had to wait for Mr. Waiter to find the right song on his iPhone for his friends while we waited for our bill under the blasting music. I don't plan on returning to this restaurant & certainly will not be recommending it.
