Le P'tit Rustik earns high marks for generous portions, flavorful dishes and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes brunch feel special. Reviewers consistently praise eggs Benedict, French toast and bognettes, along with crispy potato fritters and fresh sides, and many highlight standout items like pain doré and shakshuka. The vibe is cozy and convivial, with attentive staff and fast service in many visits, though crowds can make the space feel cramped and weekend lines long. The terrace is a popular option in good weather, and several guests note easy street parking nearby. Prices tend to be on the higher side, but the quality and portion sizes often justify the cost. Occasional service hiccups during peak hours and slow follow up can disappoint some diners, but the overall sentiment is very positive and Le P'tit Rustik is regarded as a must try brunch spot in Montreal.
One of the best brunch spots ever!! The food is absolutely delicious & generous in quantity, & the place has got a very nice ambience. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good breakfast/brunch spot in Montreal & I will definitely be back again! 💜
Possibly the best breakfast / brunch in Montreal. Is it a bit expensive? Yes. Will you wait in line for 20-30min? Probably. But the food is incredible, the service is really good, & the atmosphere is what you want from a brunch spot. The eggs benedict comes with salad, fruit, & potatoes, & blew us away

The food here is truly great - no complaints on that front. However, the service experience could use some improvement. With only two servers managing around fifty guests, it's understandable that things get hectic, but it does result in long waiting times. After being seated, it can take quite a while to get attention for ordering or follow-ups.
I completely understand how stressful it must be for the staff working under those conditions, but I would strongly encourage the management to consider hiring additional personnel. It would not only make the guests' experience smoother but also help increase table turnover & overall satisfaction.
As is often the case in Montreal, the culinary quality is outstanding - I just wish the service matched it.
