Amazing brunch ! A required stop in Montreal! The food is amazing, eggs Benedict are to die for. The waitress Emma is also helpful & has great recommendations!
Rustik is the best brunch in Montreal. A beautiful location, wonderful staff, & truly amazing food. The ham is a the best you have ever had! Beans & salad are a delicious complement to the perfect eggs. The Benedicts are an experience. Highly recommend the mimosa kit for a brunch of perfection!!!
The food was great: simple, tasty, & honestly something you could easily make at home. But the service? That's where things went south. After brunch, the server sweetly asked if we wanted dessert. No mention of prices, no heads-up - just a friendly suggestion. We said yes, only to find out later that the desserts cost more than the brunch itself. That's ridiculous.
& it didn't stop there - every little extra, down to basic things like mayo, was an added charge. No warning, no transparency. The server was friendly, sure, but the whole experience felt like a trap. It's a shame, because the food is solid. But I can't recommend a place that nickel-&-dimes you & hides the costs behind a smile. Very disappointing.
