Review Summary

Le Port De Chine is praised for delicious and authentic Chinese food with generous portions and fresh ingredients. The dining room is intimate yet can accommodate large parties, and takeout is popular thanks to friendly, family run service. The staff are described as warm and attentive, with a calm, graceful service noted during busy times. Dishes such as General Tao chicken, beef chop suey, and Singapore noodles are highlighted for tenderness, proper doneness, and a spicy kick when requested. The menu spans Chinese, Sichuan, and Polynesian influences, and the overall value is regarded as strong with plentiful options. However a few reviews mention disappointments such as egg rolls with pate texture, ribs that are cold and undercooked, and rice that is undercooked and dry, and one encounter with the owner on the phone is described negatively. Reservations are advised during peak hours as the place can be busy, and many readers call it a dependable family run staple in the region.

Delicious & authentic Chinese food. Very friendly staff & owner, Ivan, who has been in the area & owned the restaurant for over 40 years. He also speaks five languages! Many people seem to take out, but they also have a very nice, intimate dining room which can accommodate large parties, if needed. We will be back!

I definitely regretted eating here. This was the worst & most tasteless Chinese food I've ever eaten. The hot & sour soup tasted like a vinegar-y puddle, the orange chicken didn't taste like much at all, & the vegetable pasta was super basic & only seasoned with very bad soy sauce. The pina colada cocktail was pretty tasteless as well with barely any alcohol. The service was fine, but unless you like to eat bland disappointing food, don't eat here.

Great Chinese food, just like I had as a kid. You can taste the quality in the food. It's the healthiest Chinese food I had in a long time. The vegetables were really fresh,...
