We had a wonderful dining experience here! Everything was absolutely perfect. The service was top-notch-they kept bringing us warm, fragrant complimentary bread without us even having to ask. Every dish we ordered, including the escargot, lamb chops, steak, & duck confit, was delicious. Highly recommended!

Arrived for supper on a snowy Montreal evening. Reservations are recommended. We were given our choice of two tables. Our server was courteous & knowledgeable, recommending a wine for my wife, which she truly enjoyed. We chose the fish of the day to share for our entree. The sea bass was perfectly cooked & delicately seasoned, accompanied by a selection of root vegetables. Perfect! Dessert was profiteroles, which were delicious, especially when smothered in warm chocolate sauce. The atmosphere was not too noisy & the tables are spaced sufficiently to permit private conversation. Overall, a very enjoyable dimimg experience.

Le Pois Penché is love at first spoon. The best onion soup in Montreal - rich, perfectly balanced, & absolutely unforgettable.
The service is outstanding: very attentive, professional, & genuinely warm staff who make you feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is elegant & cozy at the same time. I was extremely happy with my experience & will definitely be coming back.

Le hasard fait bien les choses ! Nous avons découvert un petit bijou en matière de restaurant ! Avec ma fille, nous étions en route vers le Holt Renfrew Ogilvy mais on voulait manger un petit quelque chose avant. Le menu sur la devanture nous a séduit & nous sommes entrés. L'établissement était bien rempli en cette fin de matinée de dimanche, de grandes tables arborairent des bons plats, de la bonne humeur, entre célébration & touristes qui ont trouvé une belle place pour bruncher. J'ai opté pour les OEufs à la Turque (Yogourt labneh, noix de pin, beurre noisette aux épices d'Alep), je voulais tester quelque chose que je ne connaissais pas & ça a été une excellente surprise, le yogourt labneh, noix de pin & pain se mariaient très bien. Ma fille a pris le pancakes & pommes caramélisé avec un
glace babeurre & des pacanes, là encore, c'est savoureux. Nous avons pris le temps de déguster nos plats, je regardais la salle qui est vraiment un bel endroit & c'est toujours un vrai plaisir de voir des clients heureux, joyeux, profitant du moment présent & bien sur les plats qui vous font de l'oeil portés par des serveurs attentionnés. Il va falloir revenir pour goûter à la carte du souper !

We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious & the service was truly outstanding. Our waiter was incredibly friendly & attentive. We were celebrating our friend's anniversary, & he kindly took us to a beautiful private area & even did a small photo session for us - such a lovely touch.
The interiors are elegant & very stylish, creating a special atmosphere. I had the black cod & my husband ordered the duck confit - both dishes were cooked perfectly. A place we would happily return to.

LPP is my favorite place to visit during my monthly trips to Montreal, & always tops before a Habs game. The menu & wine list are exquisite; the service is exemplary (especially Charles); & overall atmosphere is second to none. My six year old little guy tried his first oysters & escargot at the bar. In fact, he was so enamored with the escargot, for the rest of the trip he stopped shaving, & refused to speak English!!
