Ate lunch there, steak sub & the soup of the day were way better than expected, will definitely return to try the burgers.
Highly recommend the soup. Limited menu but good quality & cooked well. Service is friendly & prompt.

I arrived to the restaurant, I ordered a steak poutine & the gentleman at the cashier told me it will take 10 minutes & he gave me a free delicious soup. I took the poutine out, it was really good on of the best I ever try. Friendly staff, nice environment. Defiantly will go againView more

Nous sommes venus dîner au Petit Wellington & c'était une très belle expérience! Très bon service & la nourriture était incroyable. Nous avons pris les Smash burger & la poutine au steak. Tout était frais & délicieux! En attendant notre commande, ils nous ont servi une bonne soupe, ce qui était une belle surprise. J'ai de forts doutes que les avis dithyrambiques 5 étoiles soient vrais. Jeudi 18h, en entrant le resto est vide & sombre, seulement un habitué malcommode au bar. La soupe servie en attendant c'est gentil. Mais la poutine Steak Philly était tout sauf wow. Très peu de frites noyées dans la sauce, pas de vrai fromage en grains, & le mélange avec un genre de vinaigrette italienne on top donne un goût douteux de revenez-y pas. 23$ avec une liqueur & le tip, pour cette qualité ce n'est pas raisonnable. The Montreal Steak Poutine was AMAZING!!! I also tried the smash burger. It was a classic delicious burger & their fries are absolutely delicious. Everything is made on spot so it's nice & fresh. Comes with a soup which was a nice surprise. The service was great, so friendly😊 Will definitely be back!View more

This is a great place for great food. You are treated like family & the place is nicely decorated & very clean. You have to try the excellent homemade soup, it is wonderful especially on these cold winter days! The steak poutine is very tasty & the fries were perfect as they did not get soggy with the sauce. Went there with my wife & youngest & we loved each item we got from the crispy chicken burger to the popcorn poutine. We also had the steak poutine which was the best dish. The owner greeted us personally & even gave us complimentary soup & crackers & water bottles. The atmosphere is of a nice diner. We live in DDO & would do the drive to Verdun to go back for the food!View more

Wonderful service, the complimentary carrot soup was great for warming up. The montreal steak poutine was probably the best poutine I've had. My girlfriend had the popcorn chicken poutine & the chicken was absolutely amazing, very sweet & crunchy. Please try this place if your in town. 5 stars!View more

A voir les avis Google j'étais sceptique & je me demandais si ce n'étais pas de faux commentaires. & bien je rajoute mon avis pour dire que la poutine est vraiment bonne & les prix raisonnables. Je n'aurais pas eu l'idée de rajouter une sauce algérienne sur la poutine avec steak & pourtant c'est super. Le jeune qui nous a accueilli parlait tellement doucement que je me suis demandé si je devenais sourd mais était souriant & gentil. Il nous a offert un potage au poireaux le temps de faire notre commande à emporter & l'attention était vraiment très agréable. Ne changez rien les 2 messieurs qui étaient là ce dimanche, je reviendrais!View more

Pictures don't do this quaint little diner justice. Looking at the picture we took, it doesn't make me salivate for this meal, but trust me when I say you will remember your burger, not the presentation. Short & simple menu is all you need. Let's face it, you're here for a juicy burger or a nice warm poutine, not to spend an hour looking at a menu. Owner will greet you, get you seated either at the diner counter or the tables, & bring you a nice warm homemade soup that you didn't even know you needed. Don't worry, you're not paying for it, & you'll soon find out you DID need it, as it warms your soul. We tried the regular smash burger, the wellington smash burger (which is a double with bacon & pickles) & the montreal-steak poutine. The beef in all 3 was tender & juicy, everything was perfect to satisfy our weekend beef-burger craving! Portions are decent, you'll probably need only 1 meal per person, but treat yourself to an extra for takeout & thank me later... This is the kind of small business i habe no problem endorsing. It's not the prettiest, it's not classy, it's what your stomach is asking for & you won't regret indulging.View more

Absolutely delicious! We had Wellington Smash Burgers & poutines, the burger was huge, the sauce was amazing & the fries were awesome with the good gravy! I guess it was the owner who was cooking & serving, he was such a nice guy & even started us off with a super tasty soup! We'll definitely be going back again, I can't wait to try the Montreal Steak poutine next! Highly recommend this restaurant!View more
