Le Pégase is a great spot for French food! The portions are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. They have some really unique sauce combinations that make the dishes stand out. From appetiser to dessert!
The lamb rack was amazing-crispy on the outside, super tender & juicy inside. Easily one of the best I've had!

An authentic French restaurant with great quality & freshness. I'd recommend you to go to this place if you want to try true French culinary delights & cuisine, without having to pay $4-500, like other French fine dinings. Their menu is traditonal & basic rather than too much of artificialities, which I like. Cozy French atmosphere is a plus!View more
We had dinner on Saturday at Le Pégase. Wow! It was incredible. The green salad with the sun dried tomato drizzle was outstanding, the entrees were very good, the lamb was perfectly cooked. The desserts were delicious especially the pavlova. Service was excellent. We brought a few bottles of Beaujolais. A perfect evening, highly recommend. .View more
Food was amazing! Unfortunately would not recommend the beef tartare, but the rest was phenomenal. I was surprised to see no vegetarian option at all at a restaurant in Montreal, so just keep that in mind. It's been a few days but I'm still dreaming about the paté that came with the bread 🤤View more

Highly recommend you book a spot in advance, the restaurant is a little bit small but there is a good amount of seating. I've been here a few times & the authentic French food & service is always great. I recommend bringing your own bottle of wine to go with your food since the restaurant does not have alcohol for purchase. The servers will help you uncork it & put in a container of ice to keep it cool, all free of charge.View more

via LibroThis was our second time we have dined here & upon arrival the waitress Lawrence surprisingly recognized us & guided us to our table .Once again we were truly amazed & satisfied by the savoury dinner we had from start to finish.It is a fabulous (bwow) hidden gem that has been around for quite some time .We absolutely recommend this place .You will not be disappointed consider this advice from a couple of foodies.

Thus place is casual in appearance & atmosphere & the food is amazing. Everyone loved it, from start to finish. It is a bring your own wine restaurant. Great value for superb food. I recommend this place for anyone who appreciates great food without all the pretense.

via LibroThe place is small & intimate which is nice but we had a groupd close behind is that was veru loud & there conversation was very rude as to what theu were saying in spanish .The staff was very friendly & helpful since we do not know french . & the food was Amazing from the beginning to the end . I would highly recommend to anyone staying in Montreal .

via LibroHi The food was excellent, dining experience was like a performance very well choreographed to maintain 2 different seating times. The space is small & intimate but a little tight & as a result the noise level can get very high. Would recommend this restaurant due to the great food, but it can get noisy would return & would try for a reservation earlier in the week maybe a bit quieter.
Ma copine & moi sommes allés à ce charmant petit restaurant qui semble être dans une ancinne maison sur la rue Gilford à Montréal. Nous avons adoré notre expérience! Service impéccable & nourriture à en faire baver plusieurs. Ce que nous avons particulièrement aimés, c'est l'ambiance chaleureuse du restaurant ainsi que la grand personnalisation dans chaque plats! En plus, c'est un apportez votre vin, tout en restant abordable pour ce qui est fournit comme prestation (autour d'une 100 de dollars pour 2, pour une table gourmande incluant salade/soupe + entree + repas + dessert & café). Je le recommende chaudement!
