Very nice, food & service was great.
Bring your own wine.View more
For about 75$ (tax & tip included) we got a great 4 course meal. The portion of food you receive for the relatively reasonable price was what stood out to us. Also don't forget to bring your own wineView more
What a charming restaurant! A hidden gem in Montreal with a cozy atmosphere. Tables are very close to each other but it only makes you feel like you are invited to a big gathering at a friend's house. Everything was absolutely delicious. The portions were generous & the prices are very affordable. They don't sell alcohol, so make sure to bring your own wine. & there is no corkage fee which is fantastic. The service was perfectly balanced - thoughtful without being intrusive. We are definitely going back to try other things on the menu which is constantly changing.View more
A good & small French style restaurant. Bring your own wine since they do not sale wine. The quality/ price ratio was correct. The server didn't ask us how we would like our meat (we had lamb & duck breast), & they were almost raw & unpleasant to eat. Otherwise, thing were ok overallView more
Unassuming, homie dishes. Friendly neighborhood restaurant. You can bring your own wine. Small space. The complimentary warm baguette slices with butter & liver mousse at the beginning of the meal were nice. Got the butternut squash soup, mini croque monsieur with duck confit, bison bavette, chocolate mousse. My friend got the salad, boudin noir puff pastry with pear compote, duck breast, tart tatin. With tax & tips it was ok.View more
Amazing!!! Can't say more. If you want a glass of wine, don't forget to bring your own.View more
So authentic & cozy! This place feels like you're sitting in your own home with an amazing chef preparing your meal. The food is really tasty. They offer a fixed menu where you choose your starter, main course, & dessert. Pègase is a bring-your-own-wine restaurant. The dishes could compete with those from a fine dining establishment-they are super tasty. I was so happy with the service; everyone was incredibly friendly.View more
Highly recommend you book a spot in advance, the restaurant is a little bit small but there is a good amount of seating. I've been here a few times & the authentic French food & service is always great. I recommend bringing your own bottle of wine to go with your food since the restaurant does not have alcohol for purchase. The servers will help you uncork it & put in a container of ice to keep it cool, all free of charge.View more
A gem of a French restaurant. Each dish was fantastic. Excellent quality & freshness of ingredients prepared to perfection.Ambiance is nice , not too loud, friendly attentive staff. The only problem with our dinner was that our wine was corked! LOL, so next time we will bring a second bottle. Lesson learned!View more
Very reasonably priced. $52-$62 per meal. No corking fee for bringing your own bottle of wine. They don't serve alcohol so if you don't bring your own, you won't be able to order any there. The bison steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out very rare & under done. They did try to fix it & provided a free dessert as an apology. Overall still a fantastic experience & would definitely go backView more

I had high expectations when visiting Le Peagase in Montreal, but unfortunately, they were not met. To start, the soup we ordered was extremely bland & watery, failing to impress as a starter. Moving on to the entrees, while the tartare & Profiteroles au boeuf braisé & fromage de chèvre were enjoyable, the black pudding Parmentier left much to be desired. For the main dishes, the rack of lamb & rabbit pasta were average, lacking the special touch that would make them stand out. Although the rabbit pasta sauce was decent, the overall experience fell short of expectations. However, the ribs stood out as the highlight of the meal-well-flavored, tender, & truly enjoyable. On a positive note, the dessert selection was exceptional, with each offering delivering delightful flavors & textures. Additionally, I appreciated the option to bring our own wine, which added to the overall dining experience.View more
We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday & it is our first time having French cuisine together. Amazing food & experience. You can bring your own wine. Servers are extremely friendly & explained the dishes to us (only French menu is provided). Very affordable prices for a set menu that includes soup/salad, appetizer, main & dessert - they are very generous with portion. Definitely go with an empty stomach & you won't be disappointed!! Will visit here again when we are in Montreal next time. :)View more
Service is really & food is splendid at all times like I always wanted every time I come here. Spent my first birthday with my newly married husband here & it was all I needed. I liked their chicken liver pate that is complimentary with the bread, we both got their turnip soup that is delicious. Then foie gras for me & escargot for him, foie gras has a lot of wine in there that couldn't taste the bad organ at all which I liked. My husband has had bad escargot before but this one he liked as well. My husband wasn't very used to the medium rare lamb but I had a good time with my bison, also with the beet purée that was so flavourful. The dessert was definitely the best ending of the whole meal. Home baked apple pie with ice cream on the side, warm & cold at the same time, perfect ending! Definitely coming back every time I'm in Montreal :) Also special thanks to both servers & hats off to the chefView more
Hidden in a residential area, is this gem of a restaurant. Small, crammed & loud which ironically all add to its charm. The food was exceptional, beautifully cooked & presented. Every bite was delicious from entre to dessert. The escargot with blue cheese was a symphony of flavor dancing in your mouth. Of course it's a bring your own wine which adds to its appeal. A reservation is a must & on busy nights expect to wait a few minutes until a table frees up.View more
Had a great birthday dinner here! Great price for the food & service! It's a BYOB so don't forget the wine! Luckily if you do, there's a liquor store not even 10-20m away to get a bottle 🥳View more
Nice tiny restaurant with great food & wonderful service. The portion of the food is great & flavor was amazing. It also helps that it's Boyb so we could pair a wine of our liking 😊 the waiter was very nice & patient explaining the French menu so we could figure out what we want. We had a good time hereView more
Very good restaurant located a block away from the busy area of Montreal. The food is really good when you consider the cost & the ambience is very cozy. The staff is also super nice & treated me very respectfully with a smile. You can bring your own wine & they don't charge corking fees which was a big plus. The only hassle was for parking but you can find it in the main street & it is free on the weekends starting 6pm. Expect to pay around $70-$80 after taxes & tips. This was a very nice experience & I will be back again during my next trip to Montreal.View more
Very cute little BYOB spot nestled in this residential neighborhood is a high quality french restaurant. Bring a nice bottle of wine because the quality of the ingredients were the bomb.
It starts off with a soup or salad
Followed by an entrée
You can opt for a palette cleanser where they made this apple/pear puré with a local brandy
Then we had an amazing boeuf bavette & short rib - the portion was huge
The sides on the dish were delicious
The dessert was amazing & super clever as well
.... All this for like.... $50-60/pp!
Like wow.View more

We have been there twice, & both times I have enjoyed it at its maximum. I’ve been with friends & we all ordered different things & I can confirm that everything I’ve tried there is beyond comparison. The portions are perfect, all beautifully presented, well prepared staff, & the flavours are to die for. Also you can bring your own wine, so by the end of the night I was satisfied with amazing food, & elegantly drunk after drinking the whole bottle talking & admiring the dishes & enjoying the company. I loved it. Big shout out to the chefs, cook & the staff in general. You made our life better, for sure. I will come back soon.. with another bottle of course.View more

Don't forget to bring your own wine 🍷
This was our second visit. We.discovered thus place completely by chance a month ago, & were eager to visit with friends. Thus place is casual in appearance & atmosphere & the food is amazing. Everyone loved it, from start to finish. It is a bring your own wine restaurant. Great value for superb food. I recommend this place for anyone who appreciates great food without all the pretense.
The food was absolutely delicious from beginning to end.Our main courses were perfectly proportioned & generous .To top it all off it's a bring your own wine. It's a winning combination.!
