Was good! Price is surprisingly cheap,for ~55$ you get a full course meal(soup+basket of bread, appetizer, main, dessert), & the portions are really big that I could barely finish it. Really liked the dessert & the appetizers. Place is a bit small, so you kinda have to squeeze a bit(probably hard to put a stroller? If that matters to you). would want to go back.Voir plus
Le Pégase is a great spot for French food! The portions are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. They have some really unique sauce combinations that make the dishes stand out. From appetiser to dessert!
The lamb rack was amazing-crispy on the outside, super tender & juicy inside. Easily one of the best I've had!

Toutes la bouffe était géniale par contre grosse déception au niveau du dessert! Des churros brulés de l'extérieur & pas cuit de l'intérieur c'est vraiment ordinaire! L'endroit est également très petit & on était bousculé dans notre table par les gens qui attendaient en file à l'intérieur même du restaurant c'etait chaotique & limite un peu stressant vers la fin. We had dinner on Saturday at Le Pégase. Wow! It was incredible. The green salad with the sun dried tomato drizzle was outstanding, the entrees were very good, the lamb was perfectly cooked. The desserts were delicious especially the pavlova. Service was excellent. We brought a few bottles of Beaujolais. A perfect evening, highly recommend. .Voir plus

So authentic & cozy! This place feels like you're sitting in your own home with an amazing chef preparing your meal. The food is really tasty. They offer a fixed menu where you choose your starter, main course, & dessert. Pègase is a bring-your-own-wine restaurant. Very reasonably priced. $52-$62 per meal. No corking fee for bringing your own bottle of wine. They don't serve alcohol so if you don't bring your own, you won't be able to order any there. The bison steak was supposed to be medium rare but came out very rare & under done. They did try to fix it & provided a free dessert as an apology. J'aimais aller à ce restaurant mais j'ai été un peu déçu en arrivant puisque contrairement à ce qui est laissé présagé sur le site, vous êtes obligé de prendre leur table gourmande. Le site indique des tarifs pour les entrées & les desserts mais rien de cela n'est disponible. Moi qui voulait qu'un plat j'ai dû emmener les 3/4 de ma formule chez nous. Les entrées étaient parfaitement exécutées mais ma femme & moi avons été déçus des plats (ribs & bison). Les saveurs étaient ordinaires. Je venais par ailleurs de manger la même semaine le bison chez Hoogan & beaufort & on était à des années lumières l'un de l'autre. Bref, pour un bill à 150$ à deux, je crois que je favoriserais d'autres établissements à l'avenir.Voir plus
I had high expectations when visiting Le Peagase in Montreal, but unfortunately, they were not met. To start, the soup we ordered was extremely bland & watery, failing to impress as a starter. Moving on to the entrees, while the tartare & Profiteroles au boeuf braisé & fromage de chèvre were enjoyable, the black pudding Parmentier left much to be desired. For the main dishes, the rack of lamb & rabbit pasta were average, lacking the special touch that would make them stand out. Although the rabbit pasta sauce was decent, the overall experience fell short of expectations. However, the ribs stood out as the highlight of the meal-well-flavored, tender, & truly enjoyable. On a positive note, the dessert selection was exceptional, with each offering delivering delightful flavors & textures. We came here to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday & it is our first time having French cuisine together. Amazing food & experience. You can bring your own wine. Servers are extremely friendly & explained the dishes to us (only French menu is provided). Very affordable prices for a set menu that includes soup/salad, appetizer, main & dessert - they are very generous with portion. Definitely go with an empty stomach & you won't be disappointed!! During my recent visit, the restaurant impressed with fantastic food & top-notch service. The staff's caring nature was evident as they allowed time for menu translation & offered a break before dessert. The ambiance was pleasant, contributing to a positive dining experience. However, the fish lacked crispy skin, & the creme brulee lacked vanilla seeds & a perfectly burnt caramel. These minor flaws aside, the overall experience was memorable, with flavors that delighted the taste buds & attentive service. Recommended, with room for improvement.Voir plus
Service is really & food is splendid at all times like I always wanted every time I come here. Spent my first birthday with my newly married husband here & it was all I needed. I liked their chicken liver pate that is complimentary with the bread, we both got their turnip soup that is delicious. Then foie gras for me & escargot for him, foie gras has a lot of wine in there that couldn't taste the bad organ at all which I liked. My husband has had bad escargot before but this one he liked as well. My husband wasn't very used to the medium rare lamb but I had a good time with my bison, also with the beet purée that was so flavourful. The dessert was definitely the best ending of the whole meal. Home baked apple pie with ice cream on the side, warm & cold at the same time, perfect ending! Hidden in a residential area, is this gem of a restaurant. Small, crammed & loud which ironically all add to its charm. The food was exceptional, beautifully cooked & presented. Every bite was delicious from entre to dessert. The escargot with blue cheese was a symphony of flavor dancing in your mouth. Of course it's a bring your own wine which adds to its appeal. A reservation is a must & on busy nights expect to wait a few minutes until a table frees up.Voir plus

Nous avons été dîner chez Le Pégase pour souper un Samedi soir. Je peux dire que c'est tout simplement une expérience exceptionelle! L'ambiance est vraiment super avec des tables rapprochés qui rappel notre voyage à Paris, de la musique très bonne & on y est au chaud même l'hiver :). Le service était impéccable car les gens sont très courtois, à l'écoute, le temps entre les différents plats était parfait, & le menu est très bien expliqué. Nous avons super bien mangé du début à la fin. Les plats étaient très bons, & bien cuits. Nous avons été renversés d'apprendre que notre facture n'était que d'environs 120$ pour deux personnes incluant soupe/salade, entrées, repas & dessert. C'était vraiment excellent, non seulement le service très agréable mais la nourriture était très bonne & de qualité. J'ajouterais en plus la bienveillance & la gentillesse de l'équipe. Pour notre première fois, on a voulu faire une petite blague, « est ce qu'on aura un cadeau » & on en a reçu un magnifique petit stylo. De plus, nous avons aussi pris nos desserts à emporter dont un moelleux au chocolat. À notre grande surprise, les indications pour maîtriser la cuisson se retrouvaient sur le contenant ! Excellente soirée d'anniversaire de couple au restaurant le pégase. Problement le meilleur apportez votre vin de Montréal. Le concept est simple vous payez entre 50$ & 60$ par personne & l'entrée & le dessert sont inclus. Service exceptionnel & attentionné à mes allergies. Very cute little BYOB spot nestled in this residential neighborhood is a high quality french restaurant. Bring a nice bottle of wine because the quality of the ingredients were the bomb.
It starts off with a soup or salad
Followed by an entrée
You can opt for a palette cleanser where they made this apple/pear puré with a local brandy
Then we had an amazing boeuf bavette & short rib - the portion was huge
The sides on the dish were delicious
The dessert was amazing & super clever as well

Pour un repas en couple un Samedi à 17 heures. Accueil chaleureux. Table petite mais correcte. Repas copieux & surtout très délicieux (pain & pâté, potage, entrée, trou normand, repas, dessert, café) pour une facture de 130$ avant taxes & pourboire. Nous avons pris notre temps. Départ vers 19:30 était parfait. Steak cuit magnifiquement & canard délicieux. Originalité de présentation dans l'assiette. J'y retournerais demain sans hésiter!
