Le Mēkong, qui tire son nom du célèbre fleuve d’Asie, puise son inspiration culinaire dans les pays qui le bordent. Le Mēkong est un point d’ancrage qui réunit les différentes identités asiatiques, un lieu convivial où l’on aime s’arrêter et s’évader le temps de quelques coups de baguettes.
« Nous proposons des fruits de mer de première qualité dont le choix variera selon les prises du jour », nous confie le Co-Propriétaire et Chef Vinh Nguyen. Que les carnivores et les végétariens se rassurent: le menu propose également de succulents mets à base de viande pouvant également être converti en plats végétariens.

Malheureusement cette critique ditirambique d'il y a 5 ans n'est plus d'actualité!!! J'y suis allée le 19 juillet 2025 & j'ai été malade. Les crevettes étaient douteuses. De la haute gastronomie orientale, on est descendu au met conventionnel & aux arômes du quartier chinois. Donc, c'est terminé pour nous!!Voir plus

This is one of my favourite Thai restaurants. Only reason why I left 4 stars is because I find it way too expensive. 27$ for a pad Thai is absurd. Service good & food really good. I just don't go as often anymore because it's too expensive. They have one of the best red curry's in town tho!Voir plus

An upscale Thai restaurant. They have an extensive Thai menu including fresh seafood & vegetarian options. The full bar serves excellent cocktails & mocktails with a Thai twist. The curry was pretty good, but 12$ for 2 small frozen spring rolls is absurd. The curry is also very overpriced, I got very little tofu.

Got the paneang curry for takeout so I can only speak to that, but it's so good that I had to stop & write a review. This was exactly what I had been craving. So flavorful & has a perfect kick without being too spicy (but you can adjust the spice level). A little pricy, but so worth it. Plus, the portion size was generous so you could make two meals out of one I'd say.Voir plus

The food is a must try. I had the Tom Kha soup the Green Curry (C3) dish + shrimp. They were very tasty & flavorful. Other members of my party ordered the PadThai & the Cari Paneang (with peanut based stew & fried spinach... We enhoyed every bite to the last... The service was friendly, fast & courteous.. The portions are huge & the prices are very reasonable. Honestly, food & service is amazing.. Come try & see for yourselves. This is not your regular Thai restaurant. Every single recipe on their menu is a step above everything else you can find in montreal, or dare I say, in QUEBEC.
The Pad thai, Mango salad & PokPok wings are OUT OF THIS WORLD. You also have to try the Spare ribs, the curry, & The Amok fish. Just incredible.

Nice vibe, but the food didn't live up to the hype
Le Mékong is a really pretty restaurant the decor is modern, the atmosphere is great, & it's a nice spot for a night out. The service wasn't bad either. A little slow at times, but nothing crazy.
That said, the food was a letdown. We tried 6 dishes, & 3 of them were either way too salty or way too sweet. It felt like they were trying too hard with the flavors, but the balance just wasn't there. The biggest shock was the price one fish dish was $60, which didn't feel worth it at all for what we got.
Overall, it's a cute place to hang out, but the food & prices didn't match the experience. I might give it another shot in the future, but I wouldn't go back expecting anything amazing.Voir plus

We came in & ordered two drinks & two main courses to share. We were impressed with the food taste. 15 minutes after the food arrived, someone came by & tried to pick up our plates while we are still eating. They repeated that three times at an interval of 15 minutes.
Typically a meal in a restaurant with drinks should be able to seat for minimum 1h30 & with notice.
I would not recommend this place to eat & relax.Voir plus
