It's a pretty simple & clean bakery store! They didn't have drinks in the menu but you get still a nice varieties of gluten free dessert, sandwiches & more! I tried their almond croissant there & the one I had was bit hard for me to bite on & it taste bit burn & dried I couldn't eat it at all after a few bites. For the price that I pay for, I was little sad & disappointed to received a dry croissant as my snack to eat before heading to work today. Aside from that, the service is friendly & didn't had lots of place to seat there or don't sell drink but I ask to the person who worked there if I could have a glass of water & they gave me some water & the ambiance is very cozy & quietVoir plus

Je suis arrivée à l'ouverture, le matin. Il y avait très peu de produits disponibles. Aucune viennoiserie. Juste celles qui sont surgelées (pareil pour les baguettes). J'ai donc pris juste un pain & un sandwich. C'était très bon. Je dois dire que je préfère la boutique sur la rive-nord. Il y a plus de variété.Voir plus

Best gluten-free pastries I've ever had! Actually, among the best pastries I've ever had even outside of being GF. I had the chocolate almond croissant a few months back & bought some frozen ones to bring home, too. I just reheated one after several months of being in the freezer & it was still amazing! Interior of the shop could be nicer but there is a lovely sitting area outside when the weather allows!Voir plus

This location has the largest selection, go early for breakfast pastries or order in advance with 24 hour notice, note that some pastries are not available on Mondays. Loved the vanilla eclair & croissant although would have liked the croissant to be toasted. Helpful & sweet staff!Voir plus

Les crêpes aux chocolat sont excellentes! Le service est parfait surtout avec les enfants. Tout à l'air tellement bon nous sommes allés pour une viennoiserie & retourné ensuite pour le souper!

Pastries were okay. Pistachio eclair didn't really have much pistachio flavor - just tasted sweet. The passion fruit mousse & the chocolate croissant tasted nice & had great texture. The brownie was thick & chocolatey, but also gritty. Overall, I'd say that all items were priced reasonably. When I came in, I wasn't greeted by the person working despite me saying hello first. Customer service/overall vibes were definitely lacking, & she seemed miserable/bothered to be interacting with me. Not sure if many people who look like me (Black people) stop by this place...but based on my experience I'll be visiting another gluten free bakery the next time I'm in Montreal.Voir plus

Love a gluten free bakery, & this one is no exception. It's tough seeing the pasteries around Montreal & not being able to partake, but this helped us feel included. We ordered delicious empanada, which we ate right away (served warm), & then we also got croissants to go, both sweet ones & giant savory sandwiches we could take with us. Definitely recommend visiting here if you are celiac or gluten free.Voir plus

When it comes to gluten free pastries, I've not seen a single bakery that comes close to what you can get at Boulangerie Le Marquis. I live in Ottawa but always come here when I'm in Montreal. I've had a lot of the tarts, but the Pain Chocolate & Croissants (both gluten free) are certainly the best. The dough is actually laminated, the way you'd expect a croissant to be. So many gluten free bakeries have let me down on that front but this is not one of them! You can buy them fresh or frozen. They store well in the freezer for up to a few months & are easy to reheat.
