Review Summary

Le Kahéra is widely regarded as a hidden gem near the Jean Talon market, offering a variety of flavorful Egyptian inspired sandwiches, hearty bowls, and high quality coffee options like the cardamom latte. Many visitors praise the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and the inclusion of vegan options, making it a popular spot for a quick and delicious meal. While most feedback is overwhelmingly positive regarding the fresh ingredients and unique fusion menu, some diners have noted occasional inconsistencies in food portion sizes, pricing, or seasoning. Additionally, while the overall experience is frequently described as authentic and enjoyable, there are minor suggestions regarding the necessity of thorough produce preparation and service expectations.

Nous n'avons pas mangé mais dégusté un café. Chouette accueil malgré le rush du lunch. Un des serveurs a pris le temps de me conseiller sur du café. J'ai hâte de le goûter ! Merci pour l'accueil ✨

im egyptian & i came here expecting an authentic egyptian experience, given the name, kahera. i understand its a fusion concept but nothing about my visit made me feel like home. its more of a progressive style, so keep that in mind. the price for one howowshi sandwich was a bit outrageous, $14+tax. the taste wasnt bad but it definitely isnt worth that pricetag for only one sandwich & no sides. it was also disappointing that i went for their koshari & was told they only serve it in the winter, they should make that clear on socials/website. overall disappointed in my visit but every establishment has their audience
