Review Summary

Le Kahéra is widely regarded as a hidden gem near the Jean Talon market, offering a variety of authentic and fusion Egyptian dishes that many find delicious, filling, and reasonably priced. Guests frequently praise the high-quality sandwiches, flavorful bowls, and excellent coffee selections, with many highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff as key contributors to the experience. While the majority of visitors leave satisfied with the vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients, some reviews mention concerns regarding inconsistent food quality, specific portion sizes, and a desire for more rigorous produce preparation. Overall, the establishment is seen as a cozy, aesthetically pleasing spot for a quick bite or a relaxed work session, solidifying its reputation as a local favorite for those seeking unique, quality food options.

J'ai commandé en livraison deux fois à Kahéra, c'est excellent ! J'ai testé le Ful en Bol, le paté de boeuf épicé & la soupe de lentille, tout était délicieux
Je recommande :)

Ful pita was so flavourful & vegan! It was so good I ate mine & then half my friend's, who was too full (pun intended) to eat the rest of her's as they are so big boys!

I'm Egyptian, so my review is based on authenticity first,
The Ful: It has absolutely no relation to any authentic Egyptian Ful recipe, it was good, very good, but not Egyptian.
Beed (Eggs) Bastirma, too much western additions, 2.5/5
Hawawshi, very good, taste 4/5, authenticity: 3/5
Bread: Tiny, you'd need at least two. I was served a tiny piece of bread.
Overall experience was not bad, but I don't think I'll come back.
If you're not Egyptian though, you'll be very satisfied. Because you wouldn't tell the difference. 😅

Nous avons adoré le lieu avec les deux tables dehors & ce que nous avons mangé : le ful & le shish poulet, encore meilleure qu'en Égypte ;) (La viande est halal)
