My new favourite restaurant! Every bite was an experience of taste & presentation. We tried so many dishes & I can't stop thinking about the Duck. The farm to table freshness was evident & the quality of the ingredients spoke for themselves without heavy sauces to mask the natural flavours & herbs. The cocktails were made with homemade elixirs crafted by their mixologist & they were fresh & light & a great compliment to the meal. Ask for the Fairies Tears! The interior is beautifully designed to keep the buildings heritage with a sophisticated touch. The service is honestly like nothing I have experienced before. Asked our names we were greeted with a personal touch & felt like we were part of an inner circle of family & friends. We had the privilege to meet the chef & his staff & hear of his journey which has led him to open Le Grand Comite. Get a reservation fast before the long wait that will come when the news gets out & the stars start coming! Suzanna

Quelle belle découverte! Nous avons adoré notre dîner. Une cuisine savoureuse, des produits frais & de grande qualité, un service chaleureux, attentionné & authentique, ainsi qu'une magnifique sélection de vins. L'ambiance est accueillante & conviviale, & chaque détail contribue à rendre l'expérience mémorable. Une adresse à découvrir & à re-découvrir. Bravo à toute l'équipe pour cette belle réussite!

Très bel accueil par David & son équipe.
Nous avons apprécié la petite terrasse non surchargée, les plats avec des produits simple mais re travaillé comme il faut.
Mention spéciale pour l'île flottante inspiré du chef !

Quelle belle découverte! Dès notre arrivée, on a été accueillis chaleureusement par toute l'équipe. On s'est tout de suite sentis comme à la maison grâce à un service attentionné & une ambiance conviviale.

La verrière est magnifique & ajoute vraiment un charme unique à l'endroit. Côté nourriture, c'était tout simplement excellent. Mention spéciale au burger, qui est sans aucun doute l'un des meilleurs que j'ai mangés de toute ma vie : parfaitement cuit, savoureux & généreux.

Une expérience du début à la fin que je recommande sans hésiter. Si vous cherchez un restaurant où l'on mange incroyablement bien & où l'on est reçu comme de la famille, Le Grand Comité est un incontournable!

Love the flavors & the welcoming vibe! The menu adds a number of specials daily - we had the delicious Aubergines Rosa Bianca with Miso & the refreshing Concombres itachi sel fume to start. The Croque Monsieur with Salmon was so good with the light ranch dip.The cheese soufflé was impressive. We learned that Chef Rémi Lemieux was on Le Chef & he scored one of the best meals we've had in Montreal. Great find in Downtown - short walk from Guy Concordia Metro, close to the Museum of Beaux- Arts & the Fantasia Film Fest which is one of the reasons we're in Montreal.

Très belle découverte ! Nous avons passé un excellent dîner, avec de belles saveurs & une cuisine en apparence simple, mais pleine de surprises. Le service, attentif & chaleureux permet de profiter pleinement de chaque plat.

What a great discovery! The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are highly hospitable (huge shout out to Fanny!!), the food is beyond delicious - you can really tell how much detail the team had put in to craft such an amazing experience for their guests. My partner & I ordered the 5 course menu & we had more than enough food (great bang for your buck)! Their menu items are rich & flavorful - Chef Rémi & his experienced team really hit it out of the ballpark. I wish we could give this place 10 stars. We will surely be back. Thank you for such a wonderful evening & for giving us a tour of the restaurant!

WoW un pure délice pour les papilles gustatives. Le chef Rémi sait nous recevoir avec son équipe de passionnés. Des plats bien présentés & portés par la cràtivité dont sait faire Rémi. Bien situé au coeur de Montréal, à vous de vivre l'expérience. Le service est extra convivial. En couple, entres ami.e.s ou collègues c'est à découvrir. Le risque c'est d'aimer & d'y retourner encore & encore…

We found Le Grand Comite by accident while looking for a spot for dinner.The atmosphere was charming & the hosts were friendly. The chef came out to explain the philosophy of simple foods without pretension. What we discovered was each sample of food was more delicious than the last. I had the burger which is served with toppings on a separate plate. After the first bite I knew I didn't want to change the it. The incredible burst of flavour from the seasoned meat, the local sourced cheese & freshly baked bun was a pleasant surprise. By far the best burger I've ever had.
