Loved it! Were there for our company's Christmas dinner. For openers, we had oysters, dumplings, scallops, beef tartare & a very unique poutine. All were super delicious & shareable. For the main, I had the filet mignon which was accompanied by a fluffy mashed potato side. Finally, an amazing chocolate mousse. Our server, Béatrice, was a pleasure to deal with & she provided excellent service & suggestions. Not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for & this was well worth it!View more
Had a lovely dinner, beautiful decor. Would have waited for the full description of the menu by the main waiter but happy with our choices. Poutine was completely different take & very tasty. Fish had a nice crust & steak was delicious.View more
Our party of three enjoyed our entire experience at Le Godot. It was a Sunday evening & very quiet. Nice ambiance in furnishings, music. We shared six plates ranging from poutine, oysters, dumplings, 2 beef dishes, & a broccoli ceaser. ALL were delicious. The staff accommodated a couple of dietary restrictions with no problem. Good wine list. Dessert was good. Amiable server. A little out of central Montreal; nice to be in the Verdun neighborhood. We would definitely come again.View more
Le seul Bémol du Godot est son feuilleté poutine qui n'a rien à voir avec le reste de la carte : Les Plats sont à la hauteur des promesses! Le crudo de Bar est juste fou! Le tartare de boeuf os à moelle surprenant , la poêlée de Pétoncles riche de saveurs & enfin les Pisco Sour sont sublime (bien que trop petit) L'ambiance & le décors surpassent les classiques resto de Verdun Hâte d'y reveniView more
Un petit bijou! Le décor est vraiment très beau, la carte variée & le service impeccable. Nous avons profité des huîtres à 1$ le mercredi & nous avons goûté la poutine revisitée très bonne & les gnocchis qui étaient succulents! Parfait pour se retrouver entre ami.es ou pour une date. Nice restaurant, classy & simple. Food is tasty, innovative & super nicely presented. The presentation & preparation of the poutine is super interesting: sort of a mille feuille of potatoes & halumi cheese. The rest of the main dishes were ok & easy to share. The jewel: the dessert. A pear inside of mille feuille that tastes amazingly good & it's just perfect. The service is more than good. Our waiter come at perfect times & provided all the help we asked for.View more

Élément clé est définitivement le repas. Saveurs diversifiées tout en restant dans la simplicité & la fraîcheur ! Service sympathique & courtois. Tout était parfait ! Les plats étaient délicieux (mention spécial à la poutine, aux dumplings & aux raviolis!). Nous nous sommes régalés. Restaurant & service is really nice but the food was not the best. There was no real theme to the menu it was all over the place. Food looked very good & well presented. 1. The dumblings seamed like they came frozen from Costco. Did not look made at the restaurant. 2. The shrimp was tough/overcooked & tasted fishy. 3. The salad was pretty basic with some cracker barrel old cheddar. 4. The poutine was pretty good but I've had better thousand layer potato. Would I bring my friends? or go back? for now it's a no for me.View more
