Le Fouvrac Ahuntsic-Cartierville, Montreal: Menu, Reviews & Reserve (2026)
PastriesCaféChocolaterieGrilled CheeseBoutique-Counter
Le Fouvrac is a little gastronomic "museum" where the owners fill the shelves as if the products were personally meant for them, and they certainly know how to talk about them! More than 74 square meters of delightful temptations: high-end confections offered in pretty boxes or individually, jams, rare salts and peppers, renowned coffees, olive oils, and vinegars in abundance, bites from master chocolatier Gendron, and much more! Tea takes center stage, with 48 brands, including the exclusive Benjamin Barton. The Laurier Street Le Fouvrac can be proud of its little sister! Le Fouvrac is also a small haven of peace where you can enjoy a warm coffee, delicious Liège waffles (the specialty!), homemade desserts, and not to mention their reinvented grilled cheese, absolutely decadent and delicious!

Review Summary

Reviews describe Le Fouvrac as a refined shop offering local and international products, with the owners' product knowledge and thoughtful suggestions appreciated; the welcome can be uneven but is part of the charm; the selection is praised as carefully curated, cohesive and guided by quality and authenticity, reflecting a real passion for good products and for highlighting artisans; it is seen as a valuable partner for curious, attentive customers and an essential stop for gourmets seeking new discoveries; some notes mention an open house vibe with a small museum feel and a cafe that offers a reinvented coffee experience, along with a grilled cheese sandwich, while others highlight French style dishes, a variety of pastries and delightful lollipops; a few reviews mention flat service and higher prices, but the overall impression centers on quality, discovery and a welcoming atmosphere.
