I had breakfast at this location recently & it was very good. It was crêpe with hollandaise sauce, with some orange juice to drink, I believe. The waitress was friendly. The food was excellent. & I loved that there was sports (TSN) playing on the TV as well. Because breakfast food & sports make a great duo, that is for sure!View more
Finally a lovely breakfast/brunch restaurant that understands quality service, attention to food freshness & presentation & most of all a chef who knows how to prepare a soft boiled egg to perfection.View more
I didn't have to wait more than 2 minutes to get a table for a part of 5, service was super fast but yet polite. Food was good & I feel that the price quality rate is above other restaurants. I highly recommend this restaurant that has brought the two most simple things that other breakfast restaurants forgot. Efficiency & qualityView more
For me, it's the best place I've ever had breakfast in Montreal. I've already visited several others, like Cora & Allo Mon Coco. The waiters are very calm & not stressed, the dish presentation was really nice, & the fruits were super fresh & generous. I loved it!View more
Great breakfast! Everything was super delicious, & the Hollandaise sauce for the Benedicts was flavourful. Awesome service.
A couple of the booths need strengthening (you can feel all movements from people sitting in the adjacent booth). Washrooms need a serious scrub down (toilet bowls)...View more
I didn't like my breakfast plate; it was too greasy, but the staff was very nice.View more
Best breakfast ever! I order a waffle & it was the best waffle I've ever had! It was such a cute restaurant & our server was so amazing & friendly! Favourite breakfast spot & you get so much food! Definitely recommend!View more
I never been served with such care by a restaurant before ! I'm a nurse who had a really long night shift & asked for a extra I couldn't find but would have paid normally....they gived me my extra & even added a sweet note 🥺 10/10 & the taste god better then the popular "eoufri..." place I wouldn't name it whole ! You already know ;) so yeah one of the best breakfast poutine I had by far !!!View more
Absolutely awful. Don't go here. I gave them two chances & am totally unimpressed. I love & continue to frequent the west's island location, but live in the east, so was excited to have a Cosmopolitain closer.
The first time they put us on a small table in an'aisle'. It was so small that we had to stack our toast & pancakes & milk & cream bowl on top of each other. The waitress was distracted & falsely polite. She didn't check on us once during our meal. The food was average except the pancakes. I literally couldn't eat them. They tasted of baking Soda. It was disgusting. First time in my life I couldn't eat pancakes, even drowned in butter & syrup. We thought to give it a second chance.
We went on my birthday in the summer during the week so we had our pick of tables. The terrace was open, but I was with a friend who is obese. They had chairs with armrests. He couldn't fit in them. Inside there were armless chairs. We asked the waiter if we could bring one out because he didn't fit & he said no. He said the manager doesn't let anyone bring the chairs out. Period. Remember, there are only about 1/4 of all the tables taken. He walked us inside to a booth, my friend can't fit in booths. We had to ask to be moved again to the tables with armless chairs. Then the service was awful. Rushed waitress even though it wasn't busy. Food took about 23 minutes to show up! That has never happened ever to us at any breakfast place even when it's packed. My potatoes were cold, toast was cold & eggs over easy were hard, no dripping yolk. Orange juice was sour, & i toon blueberry pancakes hoping to cover the soda taste just in case, no luck. I could taste it over the blueberries. I still ate them because it wasn't as bad as the first time.
Overall, awful place. Don't go here. we will never go back, especially because their disrespect for larger people. It's too bad, because the location & terasse are beautiful.
Just got back from having breakfast here with a friend. I had French toast with apple bacon & cheddar, the plate was garnished with a variety of different fruits & it was delicious! My friend had a spinach cheddar crêpe & said it was great as well. The service was great & the restaurant itself is very nice. Definitely going back!
