Le cadre est vraiment très sympathique & chaleureux. Le service attentionné.
Le brunch (grand petit déjeuner) était copieux & délicieux !
Nous n'avions pas réservé (4 personnes) mais comme le restaurant est assez grand, nous n'avons pas beaucoup attendu.
My daughter & I hit up Bar Darling after reading reviews & we loved it! Such a cool vibe & the food we had was delicious. The Mae is not very big but there is definitely enough to choose from if you are not picky. I loved it & would definitely go back at different times of the day to try it out!
THIS is one of those institutions where you better be hungry for ambiance ALONE. While the food is good, it's really not enough for the price or service. I have never seen a beef tartare, in portion, be shorter than the edge of the plate! I didn't take photos, so I will be going back to take them & do a proper review... the interior design is out of this world, (very cool) Also a special tasting menu for'2' was enough food for 1. One of the skeweres of ham & olive was very tiny! I have had more on the toothpick of a bloody cesar. I will return for the ambiance, in a day where I am literally not hungry.
Such a shame to have to give a three star review because i LOVE this place but unfortunately the host on Sunday at 9pm was incredibly rude to us.
I'm a foreigner & I'm here for holidays so i don't carry my passport around. When he asked for it i asked if it would be OK to show him a photo of my passport while completely understanding & taking ownership that i didn't have my ID in hand & it might not work. He looked at me & said'i could 100% said no to you right now' & i said that's fine, we can leave. He stared at us for a second. My boyfriend asked if we could come & he gave us a snarky sarcastic smile in a'do what you want' kind of way.
I'm not usually bothered about this kinda stuff but it sucks that's the first interaction when you walk i to the restaurant, especially when the rest of the staff is so friendly.
