Le service de notre serveuse était vraiment médiocre. Elle ne revenait jamais pour prendre notre commande, elle avait l'air bête toute la soirée. Elle nous remercie pas lorsqu'elle prend les paiements & quitte. Vrm décevant. La nourriture était bonne, les drinks très médiocres, ils goûtaient l'eau.

I'll state the facts, you decide. I have been there for drinks & went for breakfast recently. The food is ok, tasty, but the portions are ridiculously small. The average price for benedicts in most breakfast restaurants is ~$22 for two. Here you get only one for that price. I was also charged $3.50 for a couple of teaspoons of jelly & an extra dollar for ice... & thing is that it is only the Plateau, right? With a very standard service & nothing more. Up to you.
What an absolute gem. there is not a time of day le darling is not amazing - in the weekend mornings they have some of the best brunch in the entire city & at night, the bar is such an amazing vibe. food here is amazing & diverse, with a constantly changing menu that is incredibly flavorful & creative. my hat goes off to le darling, it will forever be one of my favorites. my tip, get the london fog. best london fog ever.

The cozy antique-esque atmosphere is great. My friends & I arrived just before 11pm & the kitchen was closing but we were able to order a matcha dessert, which was delicious. I had a Moscow mule to drink, & did not like it. It did not come in a chilled copper mug & flavour did not taste like a typical Moscow mule. Overall, I really liked the vibe of le darling. The service was very average. Not the best bar along Saint Laurent but would be open to trying again if my friends want to go.
C'est correct, pas incroyable. J'ai par contre uniquement eu la chance de prendre des tapas, donc pas de plats principaux. Le choix des desserts n'était vraiment pas à mon goût.
L'endroit nous a été recommandé & nous y sommes passés en coup de vent pour un encas rapide. Accueil sympathique sur la terrasse. Une salade au poulet dont la sauce est épicée comme j'aime, sur un verre de Contemporain du fils Landron (très beau choix de vins) & une gourmandise pour adoucir la vie. Un rapide passage en salle montre un décor attrayant. A refaire avec plus de temps.

It's a fun bar with an eclectic decor. Good wine selection & cocktail. Food is served tapas style & reasonably priced. It's one of the few place big enough to accommodate a group but that said, it's popular & they don't take reservation.
I'm giving this place 5 stars solely because of my experience with the staff during my most recent visit. I was seated on the terrace after a rainstorm & a gust of wind threw some water from the terrace awning onto my head partway through my meal. One of the servers (pink hair & glasses) immediately rushed out from inside with towels & offered to comp anything I ordered + apologized profusely. She really made my bad experience much better & I want to give her a shoutout!
I had guests from the US & wanted to make sure they had a good time so i chose Darlings, & boy they surpassed my expectations bigtime, extremely cool & friendly vibe , staff was insanely sweet & knowledgeable, the recommended local ciders were some of the best ive ever had , can't wait to go back , 10/10
J'avais aimé cet endroit & j'avais envie d'y retourner après longtemps, alors j'ai emmené un ami avec moi, mais ce n'était pas une expérience agréable pour nous. La bière suggérée n'était pas bonne du tout, & cette étoile va pour leur dessert au mocha, qu'est-ce que c'était ça, on ne pouvait même pas le manger. C'était bruyant & les gens derrière nous criaient. J'ai payé 36$ (ce que j'ai trouvé très cher aussi) & je suis parti.
