Hier, j'y suis allé pour célébrer mon anniversaire avec quelques amies. Tout se passait bien, le serveur était gentil. Lorsque nous avons commandé, on s'est fait refuser une modification d'un plat. Il y a une rigidité au niveau de la cuisine (venant supposément du chef) comme quoi nous ne pouvons pas retirer des aliments. Comme exemple, si tu n'aimes pas les cornichons ou un aliment, tu dois quand même les avoir dans ton plat. Même chose pour les sauces, etc. La seule façon dont le chef accepte de faire une modification est seulement si c'est en cas d'allergie grave. Donc, si tu as des restrictions alimentaires, prépare-toi un snack avant de t'y rendre, car tu risques d'avoir faim en sortant ! (Ce qui était le cas, nous sommes allés manger ailleurs par la suite.) Nous n'avons pas vraiment eu d'explication du pourquoi nous ne pouvions pas apportez de légères modifications. Nous avons trouvé ça cher aussi pour ce que c'était. Les cocktails étaient bien & le décor aussi. Pour ma part, je ne crois pas y retourner justement à cause du manque d'ouverture.
Absolute one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. Always come when I am in the city.

Kudos to Ocean, Anton, the other Anton, Raphael, Ronnie, Simon (Halifax), & of course, the most important, Simon *L* they have made every visit wonderful.
Steampunk decor, scallop ceviche & oysters… excellent aperol spritz & mango margaritas. & perfectly acceptable to work on your laptop while you dine. What's not to love!
Ce restaurant est magnifiquement décoré, l'ambiance y est chaleureuse, mais un peu bruyante… Les cocktails sont délicieux & le menu est plutôt varié. Il manque cependant d'options végétariennes, & le burger végé n'était pas très bon & un peu sec… Les frites maison sont en revanche délicieuses, comme toutes les entrées végétariennes ! Service très correct aussi. On a passé un bon moment.

Absolutely gorgeous! Super nice ambiance, food, service & music. Great place to take a coffee, try the cheesecake, delicious! After 17h you can enjoy great cocktails & the lights & decor will charm you. Kudos!

I did not expect this bar to be as spacious & beautiful as it was. & I didn't expect it to be so reasonably priced after I saw how extravagant the decor looked like. So in conclusion, it's my new favorite bar right now! (Got the Babyback Ribs & fries. Great taste & fast service.)
Visited on September 19, 2021, in late afternoon. This place, located on Saint-Laurent & Marie-Anne, in front of Parc des Portugais, has been opened since 2017 & I'm the first Ratebeerien to rate this place (& to add stuff), so what is so special about Darling, cider! A friend of former Ratebeerien TaktikMtl told him about this place, we meet (for the first time since de pandemic) & when we saw the menu, wow! Eleven ciders on tap, the most I've see was four, plus a good bottle selection. A pretty good beer selection on tap & bottles & cans, some are imported. There other speciality is oysters, in fact it the first thing you see on their menu before the ciders. They also have cocktails, a barista & a small food menu. The inside is very eclectic, seating for just drinking or having a meal, there is a round bar, mismatch decor. The place is just cool.
If you're looking for a restaurant with charming old-world decor & a cozy atmosphere, this place is a must-visit. The interior design perfectly balances rustic elegance with a touch of nostalgia, creating a warm & inviting setting for any occasion. The highlight of my meal was the smoked salmon, which was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. It's clear they put care into both the quality of the ingredients & the preparation. The staff was equally impressive-attentive, friendly, & professional without being intrusive. They contributed to the overall pleasant experience & made me feel genuinely welcome. Overall, this restaurant offers a delightful combination of excellent food, great service, & a unique ambiance. I'll definitely be returning!
Lieu surprenant 😮 cuisine atypique mais de qualité..le service c'est 50/50 (certains sont très sympas,d'autres franchement moin🤣) bonne ambiance décor très spécial mais qui fait le charme particulier de l'endroit... Seul le quartier m'a beaucoup moin plu... Mais bon, content d'avoir été dans ce bar resto tellement différent
Such a wonderful & inviting atmosphere & decor you can spend hours looking at. Unfortunately our server wasn't the best. He didn't ask how I wanted my steak ( it came cold & raw), forgot about bringing my order, & table maintenance was very slow. It's a shame because it was our first time here while visiting Montreal.
