We stopped by on a whim for dinner & could not have been happier. Dishes we tried were the Beet salad delicious, veggie burger..yummy & French onion soup..perfection. I cannot say enough about the service though. Personable, friendly, attentive. Try this place out!
Ma fiancée & moi sommes allés mangés à cette place-là pour la St-Valentin & tout de suite on nous as servis avec le sourire. Le plus drôle, est que le serveur qui nous servies, était le-même que lors de nôtres derniers passages. Mais super gentil & son service était irréprochable en nous mentant à l'aise dès le départ. Que dire de la nourriture qui était d'une qualité exceptionnelle, que ce soit le fish & chips en passant par le burger que nous nous étions pris, tout était parfait.
Le temps d'attente était vraiment rapide, en gros nous recommandons cette place fortement. Autant pour la qualité du service que pour sa nourriture ❤?

I tried this place yesterday, it has a lovely ambiance# great service & good food, we ordered the beef burger & the philly steak sandwich ..followed by desserts, i gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the fries were not freshly made.. more like reheated. But everything else was great.
Nous sommes allés en groupe de 12 personnes vendredi dernier le 6 février 2026. Le côté plus positif a été le fait de nous permettre de rester plus longtemps que les deux heures prévues dans les conditions de la réservation. Les serveurs ont été souvent dépassés par l'achalandage à partir de 17h30, retard pour prendre les commandes de boisons & nourriture. Les verres vides ont été laissés longtemps à la table, cumulés au centre, même quand j'ai demandé de les ramasser. La nourriture que mon accompagnante & moi avons commandé, poutine tout cochon & burger cochon étaient ratés dans tous les sens, quantité, température, présentation, saveur. Les commentaires de plusieurs dans le groupe n'ont pas été différent, magret de canard non tendre, assiette à partager de piètre qualité. Rien à voir avec mon premier expérience dans cet endroit en décembre 2025. S'il continu de se détériorer à cette vitesse, ce sera pénible d'y retourner.
Staff was really nice & friendly, food is great & tasty. Unfortunately, I ordered a pulled pork burger to go, & when I got home, I realized it wasn't what I ordered. Still tasty, but disappointing.

Such a great place , food is super good & service is incredible . I got the beef burger & it was absolutely amazing . A great place for dinner & atmosphere .
Surprisingly, this was a great spot to find with kids. It looked too high end for us when we entered but they have an extensive & generous kids menu. Actually, the kids menu was the highlight. The chicken tenders were absolutely the best fried chicken we've ever had. I ate most of them, I just couldn't stop. The kids appetizer plate of fresh vegetables was lovely & varied so the kids got to eat some fresh veggies which can be hard to get in while traveling with picky eaters. My husband's burger was good, nothing extraordinary & my two picks were only ok; duck wings appetizer & cauliflower falafel. My wine was delicious, the service was friendly & fast, & all in all I'd recommend.
I've been to this restaurant a few times & have enjoyed my meal
But today…I have to say the eggs were like frisbees, very done, no yolk
They were replaced after a brief complaint

we're re-fried…not eatable at all & the burger was mediocre
I was very dissatisfied & disappointed
The restaurant is truly magnificent
The beef burger, falafel salad, & poutine were favorites for me. The service is impeccable as well. The cocktails & mocktails were gorgeous. Ambience & location are great. The prices were
reasonable for the value. Would definitely keep coming back.

Nice place but needs some guidance , ordered the burger seems cooked to the core maybe it was frozen. Fries were old feels like they got refried. Service longer than average maybe the other dishes are better hopefully. Then again it jazz fest tourist trap?
Cochon Dingue is an excellent addition to the Quartier des Spectacles. I ordered the beef burger with raw onions instead of caramelized onions & it was delicious. Juicy beef, quality bun & cheese. The fries were good to. They have a wide selection of beers. The restaurant itself is huge & bright with great views. I highly recommend it.
