Wowww !!! Remerciements tout spécial au chef !!! Ce fut une soirée inoubliables. Service impeccable, bouffe extraordinaire. Je recommandeVoir plus
Ce restaurant nous a offert un des meilleurs services que nous avons reçu! Notre serveur était extrêmement sympathique! Que dire de la nourriture, tout était exquis! Nous avons passés une très belle soirée.Voir plus
The scallop entrée was amazing; however, the dishes that followed were slightly underwhelming in comparison. The venison tartare had a complex taste but good, the beef & lobster as well demonstrated an interesting mix of flavours & the venison main course was lacking some oumf in my opinion.Voir plus
One of the best meals of my life. Scallop crudo was incredible & the sauce was one of the most delicous things I've ever eaten. Partner had Salmon confit. I notmally don't love cooked salmon but this was a major exception. Perfect preperation that left no hint of the fishy flavor I associate with cooked salmon. Foie Gras PB&J was playful & deslightful. Great texture. I think it's a work in progress but I've never had anything like it! Venison was absolutely killer & the duck was perfect. Sauces all around were stellar. If I had to nitpick, the dining room felt a bit dated & the wine pours were generally smaller than I would like at this price point. Service was efficient if a bit cool. It would be good to have some emergency frozen gluten free bread on hand - partner has celiac & this is always appreciated & seems to be more & more commonly offered in place of normal bread. But these are tiny nitpicks to an otherwise perfect meal. Overall, there are meals you splurge on & then regret it. No chance of that happening at this place. Food was 6/5.Voir plus
This is a Montreal institution. Tucked away on a small street in Old Montreal, it feels timeless so if you are looking for a classic place, then this is where to dine. The cuisine is among the best French food in the city. &, when you enter, you step back into time to an unrushed era where a meal could extend over hours. Helene & Jean-Francois were exceptional in their care. They not only made the whole dining experience memorable for us but also made the restaurant a place which we look forward to going back to.Voir plus
Absolutely amazing experience from start to finish.Voir plus
Very good restaurant - one of my favouritesVoir plus
Good oyster & delicious scallop. Great atmosphere. The tasting menu 150$ per person is a bit overpriced.Voir plus
Top notch food. Service is excellent as well. You will not be disappointed if you dine here!Voir plus
The food is always excellent & the atmosphere is great. Many great hall staffs, but very disappointed that there were some very poor service staffs. Despite the great food... I strongly wish they were more professional in that field.Voir plus
We had not been there in at least a decade & it turned out to be as great as we'd remembered it. Good food, great service. Our server was especially attentive, she sensed that we would have liked a quieter area & as soon as a table opens up she offered to move us there without us asking. Great night, recommend highly.Voir plus
Allez-y! Poussez la porte & laissez vous guider. Une TRES Belle table (pour une famille française type...). Des goûts, des cuissons au top (magret, poisson), des desserts bien exécutés.Voir plus
Le Club Chasse & Pêche, Montreal: A Gastronomic Gem Le Club Chasse & Pêche in Montreal earns a solid four stars for its food, ambiance, & service. The menu is a culinary adventure, with standout dishes like the perfectly cooked Foie Gras, albeit slightly overwhelmed by the peanut butter taste & lacking acidity. The venison, while promising with boreal inspiration, suffered from dryness & a monotonous bitter note, especially from the beets. The chocolate butterscotch dessert was a high point. Their wine list is notably impressive, featuring exciting finds from Languedoc. The courteous service adds to the experience, although the small size of the dining area can lead to a noisy environment. Despite some minor setbacks, it's a Montreal institution well worth revisiting, especially with friends.Voir plus
We had dinner here last night - maybe one of the best meals I've had anywhere in the world! The service was impeccable, timing of delivery of wine, starters, mains, all perfect. The food itself was to a plate outstanding, we had a wide variety, including the fish, oysters, pork, steak, pasta with truffles; everything was perfectly done. Wine list is extensive as well. Cannot find a single thing to say about our experience other than flawless.Voir plus
Went there for my birthday! It was a perfect experience!Voir plus
Had a wonderful evening at this restaurant for my fiancée's birthday. For starters, we had the grilled octopus & the scallop crudo. For mains, we had the venison & the beef striploin. Both were cooked to perfection. Finally, for dessert, we had the praline & the bread pudding. I have to say everything was succulent & our expectations were met. All the waiters were exceptional & the atmosphere was amazing. Highly recommended & will definitely go back!Voir plus
Extremely cozy, quiet & beautiful restaurant. The menu is perfectly crafted & is constantly being adapted. The food & flavours were great. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience & would definitely recommend eating here to anyone. The waiters & waitresses were extremely friendly & very knowledgeable when explaining the different menu options. This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. Every meal was presented perfectly & offered a variety of different ingredients. Definitely a great place for anyone who enjoys high quality food options.
