I went & tried this place that I had heard so much about. I'd seen it a lot on social media in the past year or so. It was alright.

The food was good but nothing very memorable. The portion to price ratio is pretty abysmal. Very little fish on top of a slab of sushi rice.
The cocktail however was great, a little expensive but delicious.
Service was very good & the servers were kind & accomodating.
The'dining room' is pretty but also very small. To maximise the seating opportunity, comfort was greatly sacrificed. The entirety of the space is small stools & tiny table. It's cute. But 45 minutes in, it starts to get uncomfortable.

Overall review, it's worth a try but it does not get a repeat: A one time experience is enough 😔

to start off, the exterior building was quite interesting, fever dreamish pink. we were warmly welcomed & had great service throughout the dinner. the atmosphere was very intimate, at times the loudness was a bit overwhelming. the tables also felt a bit small for all the dishes. the food, however, was delicious. we really liked the shrimp sushi. the cocktails were also perfect & unique!! overall, we recommend the place.

C'était super. Super bon & super service. Moi qui voulait des hotdogs du resto l'autre bord de la rue (c'était fermé), j'ai beaucoup apprécié mon plan B, qui sera mon plan A la prochaine fois. :)

J'ai adoré mon expérience au Château Maneki. Les sushis, bien qu'ils soient un peu plus dispendieux qu'à l'habitude, sont de loin les meilleurs que j'aie mangés. Leur qualité est supérieure à celle de tous les autres endroits que j'ai essayés. J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

L'ambiance est également vraiment agréable, autant pour une date que pour un moment entre girls. Je n'ai pas essayé les boissons, mais la prochaine fois, je vais assurément goûter un matcha.

La nourriture était très bonne un peu piquante mais très bonne, le service était un peu lent mais les serveurs était très aimables & l'ambiance était magnifique. Je recommande fortement cet endroit

Très mauvaise expérience, quantité extrêmement petite, ça goutte le riz & la Mayo c'est tout, en tant qu'amoureuse de sushi c'est la pire expérience que j'ai eu à Montréal
