Super soirée. Le service était bien & la nourriture délicieuse. Entrée calmars frits & choux-fleurs frits. Plats principaux fish & chips & tartare de boeuf. Le pain & le beurre miammmm. Drinks dispendieux mais alcool premium. Points à corriger. Les menus ont des tâches de nourriture dessus. Ils devraient être renouvelés. Le tip sur la machine est 18% 25% ou 30%. Ajoutez le 15%. Pour avoir 18% & 25% le service doit être exceptionnel. Nous reviendrons. Merci pour l'attention pour ma fête.

This restaurant is the Crème de la crème.
At first, It might look simple, but it's nothing short than perfect.
Between the beef carpaccio, Tuna Tartare, parsley soup, gnocchi & mushrooms & the Cordon bleu, EVERYTHING was delicious & beautiful like an art piece.
As for the service, it was superb👌

This restaurant offers a professional atmosphere with excellent food & service. We enjoyed the burrata, smoked salmon, grilled tuna, & salmon tartare. Excellent vegan options like gnocchi & cauliflower are available. Limited street parking is the only drawback.

Tried this restaurant for lunch. The clientele is mostly corporate people, which makes for a nice atmosphere. The food was very good, & the service was solid as well.

We had the burrata & tomato & the smoked salmon as starters, followed by the grilled tuna & salmon tartare as mains. Everything was delicious. I would definitely go back.

Street parking is available, but spots are limited.

VEGANS can choose from gnocchi with mushrooms & pesto (as a main), fried cauliflower with mouhamara sauce, or Brussels sprouts (entrés).

I feel like I died & went to heaven!! Upon entering, I knew this was going to be a dining experience like no other!! The ambience & decor was tasteful, modern, beautifully decorated & very elegant! I love the turquoise wall & the gold finishes!

The menu was extensive, I would have picked everything on the menu (as they all sounded delicious)!!

We started off with cocktails, which were garnished & presented so beautifully!!

We had the Scallops ceviche, the burrata & the beef tartare...OMG!!! Soooo pleasing to the eye, & palate; delicious!!

My main was the fresh pasta with duck confit (first time having duck confit)...I was in food HEAVEN!!! So savoury, so delicious, so creamy, the pasta was fresh & cooked to al dente; the peas were sweet & the cream was flavored beautifully!! so tasty, so yummy!!

The service was impeccable; very attentive, & efficient! This dinner was an absolute pleasure! I just wish I could go there every night (however, I had to come back to Toronto! :(

Je conseil fortement d'essayer ce resto.
La nourriture était complètement incroyable.
Nous avons essayé un Burger Au boeuf Wagyu & du tartare de boeuf.
Merci beaucoup à Jean-François, qui nous a conseillé sur le menu & les vins.

We had to stay in downtown Montreal a little longer than planned & ended up staying for dinner. We were just walking around the area when we literally walked right in front of the restaurant & decided to give it a try.
What a fantastic decision!
Le Carré was amazing. It started with excellent service, then we had the soupe du jour, tuna tartare for me, beef tartare for my wife, & finished with lemon tarts & carré à l'érable.
The food was outstanding. It turned out to be a great find, & we will definitely go back again.

We visited on a week day for lunch. I'm glad we waited until close to one as the place is very crowded with people on lunch break & it is not very large.

We were greeted warmly & shown to our table. Drink service was prompt.

I ordered Tuna Tartare & my companion ordered Cod fish & chips. Both were delightful. The sauce on the tuna was a perfect complement along with the arugula salad on the side. The Cod was fried to perfection with a very light flaky batter. Both included fries which were salted with just the right amount.

We lingered & ordered dessert. Our server recommended the Maple Crunch squares, which was a great suggestion. It was just the right balance of savory & sweet.

Un très bon accueil & un service irréprochable. Le repas était délicieux. Seul bémol, musique un peu trop forte Nous avons pris les pâtes au canard & le tartare de saumon. Pour le dessert nous avons pris la crème brûlée & le brownie. Le tout accompagné de vin.

Expérience moyen-correcte. Cocktail : ok Entrée : calmars, quelconque, je n'ai pas aimé. Plat : tartare de thon était bon, tartare de saumon aussi, les frites moyennes ; Dessert : crème brûlée : excellente, c'etait le point fort du chef, je me suis régalé avec ma conjointe. Le service : courtois & sympathique. L'ambiance feutrée est sympa, un peu bruyante. Un point d'incompréhension : vendez-vous le pain/beurre ou vous l'offrez au nombre de clients par table ou par ce qu'il prend? Car je pensais en avoir & finalement non. Ça reste très cher au global.

De passage à Montréal, je suis allé au Le Carré à l'invitation d'une amie dans savoir que je m'embarquais dans une véritable expérience culinaire. Tout y était exquis à commencer par l'entrée d'Halloumi & les calmars grillés. Le burger de Wagyu était parfaitement sublimé par la moutarde fumée. Le tartare de thon était relevé à souhait & que dire de la croustille frite qui accompagnait le tout. La sauce ponzu mariait parfaitement le tout. Je n'ai malheureusement pas eu le temps de manger un dessert, mais ceux que j'ai eu l'occasion de voir paraissaient délicieux! Le mojito Le Carré était aussi surprenant qu'exceptionnel! À essayer!

Très belle soirée passée au Carré. Service impeccable, attentionné & discret. Mention spéciale à notre serveur Eloi qui nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Plats succulents & originaux. On a adoré les entrées de brocolis brûlés, chou-fleurs frits & le tartare de wagyu. Mention spéciale au Thon à l'encre de seiche & à l'espadon grillé. Le tout accompagné de très bons vins au verre. La crème brûlée flambée a magnifiquement clos notre dîner. À recommander & y retourner car la carte est fournie & donne envie d'essayer d'autres plats & combinaisons.

Alex is an amazing host who was able to arrange a last minute reservation for our group of 4 by going above & beyond. The most surprisingly positive interaction with a restaurant by phone I’ve ever had the pleasure of having.

Main courses were all spectacular (swordfish, wagyu burger, & salmon tartare), & so was the crème brulée. Maybe the appetizer we had was the weakest link: would not recommend the charred broccoli as it was just ok.
