Review Summary

Le Butterblume is widely recognized as a vibrant brunch destination known for its creative, seasonal menu and high-quality, fresh ingredients. Many guests appreciate the thoughtful presentation of dishes like the gravlax and inventive pastries, often highlighting the welcoming atmosphere and the unique open kitchen concept. While the service is frequently described as friendly and professional, some visitors encounter long wait times, a noisy environment, and small portion sizes that do not always align with the price point. Despite varying opinions on the value and fullness of the meals, the restaurant remains a popular and busy spot where regulars enjoy returning for its consistent culinary flair and pleasant, neighborhood-friendly vibe.

Very airy & aesthetic breakfast/ lunch spot with a limited menu. Staff is friendly & service is great. The restaurant is a perfect size. A great Saturday or Sunday morning spot.

Randomly choose here for brunch around area. No service, food is okay but nothing impressed. Cauliflower cake was dry. Eggplant toast not bad but too salty for me. Pork belly pancakes is brunch menu only for weekends, hard to say:)

We had the beef carpaccio which was spectacular. Along with the potato frittata, brioche & two cold pressed juices. All very beautifully plated & tasty but pricey & small portions. The restaurant itself was also super cute.

I've known this restaurant for years & I love the dishes. Very well executed & tasty, with fresh ingredients. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Montreal. The dishes are small compared to other places in town, but the quality is second to none. One of the best beff tartare I've ever tried.

This is a neighborhood GEM. I travel extensively & get to try lots of places. They do a nice job with wonderful flavor combinations. Had a delightful small lunch with the rhubarb & cheese, pea soup & carrot drink. The rhubarb jam is an absolutely memorable winner. I would recommend & will be back.

Went here for brunch this weekend & the one server was excellent! She was very professional, & helpful towards the small children at our table. Other servers (as we were a big group) were a bit slow & missed bringing me my drink for a while. The mimosas with fresh orange juice were delicious. Nice ambiance. However I ordered the poached egg with asparagus & it was not worth the money. At that price I expected double the amount of food that was on the plate, & the flavours left something to be desired.
