With a wide range of items it was difficult to pick just one
main dish. So, I picked one & my husband picked something else. I chose the brisket sandwich with a side of french fries & coleslaw. The brisket was tender & juicy. The bun, seems like it was a brioche bun, had tons of brisket with a thin layer of pickles. The french fries were homemade & seasoned to perfection with a little bit of a spice. The coleslaw however crunchy, have absolutely no taste. Some salt, pepper, & even some vinegar or mayonnaise would have been very helpful. Next time we eat there I will not order coleslaw. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich. Again the brioche fun was loaded with pulled pork & a light barbecue sauce. He selected as his two sides, potato salad & brussel sprouts. Everything that he had was absolutely delicious. I have to try his stuff too.
Service was amazing. The staff was so friendly & helpful. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was inside the restaurant was a little too warm for my liking, so we sat outside in the back under the trees.
Would I go back? Absolutely I can't wait.
Trying to discover new BBQ places around Montreal, found this one through Google search. Small restaurant but big flavours! Pulled pork sandwich was good. Potato salad was the best I ever had in a restaurant thus far. Wings were tasty on their own. I recommend reservations because it is a small place. I only gave 4 stars because the fries were ordinary. Other than that, a surprisingly tasty restaurant despite the decor & size! Will definitely go back!

Stopped in for lunch a few days ago & had a great experience.
We ordered the pulled pork poutine & brisket sandwich with cheese corn & potato salad. Poutine & & potato salad deserve a highlight because they were our favorites. Drink menu had great options & we loved our cocktails.
Overall, food, drinks & service were fantastic. Would come here again!
Small cozy restaurant, server was very friendly. We had the 4 rib plate each which was a generous portion of fall off the bone, perfectly smoked ribs with a wonderful sauce. Sides potato salad, Brussels sprouts & coleslaw. Sides were hand prepared & extremely good.
Delicious burger (5 Napkins), not overcooked, very tender, with melty high-quality cheddar. I liked the choice of sides (got double green salad which was a good portion). They were very accommodating about replacing the bun with lettuce, & even made me a sugar-free mojito, which I enjoyed in their cozy backyard terrace. Overall a good experience & excellent value.
Food was amazing I had a pulled pork sandwich which was hearty & delish. The chefs nailed it 👌🏻 the service was great. For 3 people we payed 100$ with a dessert to share. Definitely worth the money. If I had to recommend something it would be to get the potato salad side. 🤤
Excellent petit resto qui sert une nourriture style pub dans une ambiance chaleureuse & conviviale. J'ai pris la salade de crevette cajun avec un drink & un dessert ça été excellent & mon conjoint a pris le poulet avec frite & salade il a bien aimé aussi ! C'était notre 2e expérience & nous avons été aussi content que la 1ere fois.

Très joli petit restaurant en terme de décoration. Service rapide au début mais après nous avons attendu vraiment longtemps pour nos plats... Burgers très bons, dommage que la sauce soit en extra pour les frites. Salade de choux pas assez assaisonnée, un peu décevante. Prix raisonnable. Serveuse très sympathique!
Deliocious BBQ ribs, excellent potato salad & other side dishes. While my dinner guest & I enjoyed our meal in a very comfortable nook at the bar we also had the pleasure of listening to some great rock & alternative music from the 80's & 90's. Would recommend Le Boucan for a quiet date night or family dinner or group of friends out for an extremely well priced & delicious dinner.
We came for the ribs & were not disappointed! Fall off the bone & tender. The BBQ sauce was insane. Highly recommend the potato salad as well! The server was so nice & although she was brand new & still learning she had the greatest personality & for sure will become a great server!

Really bad service - Ordered a smoked salmon salad, specifically asked for SMOKED Salmon, not Grilled Salmon. Request made twice! After a 45 min. wait, I finally got...(guess what?) A GRILLED SALMON salad! I think the only dressing in the salad was oil & few drops of vinegar!
My friend had ordered a pork hamburger with a side salad - again, no taste to the dressing nor the burger.
Young & inexperienced, the waiters as well as the cooks.
Le burger 5 napkins était décadent à souhait (& pas facile à manger proprement) avec 2 boulettes de boeuf, du bacon, des oignons frits, du fromage & de la sauce BBQ. Les frites & la salade de chou était très bonnes aussi !
Quelle belle découverte ! Nous sommes allés sur la recommandation d'un ami & nous n'avons pas été déçus ! C'est tout petit (à peine 40 places assises, bar inclus) mais il y a beaucoup d'ambiance. Très convivial pour un souper de groupe. Le bar contient des trésors & les drinks offerts sont hallucinants (je conseille la Limonade Pimm's). Côté bouffe, tout était délicieux, des ailes en entrée jusqu'à la copieuse assiette "Pit boss" pour deux personnes. On y retrouve du poulet, des côtes levées, du porc effiloché (le meilleur à Montréal), des frites & deux salades. Le tout nappé de la célèbre sauce Boucan. Digne de Gargantua ! & que dire de la tarte au babeurre comme dessert ! Divine ! & gentiment offerte par le proprio vu que nous y étions pour un anniversaire. Bref, une expérience des plus agréables, que nous renouvellerons !
