Went on a dinner date with a friend of mine & had a fantastic night. The ambiance & decor of this restaurant is quite pleasant & retro-ish. I ordered a burger & a cocktail, both were tasty. Service was also good considering how busy they were on the night we went.

I've been coming to Le Bar Darling for years & a weeknight visit last week reminded me why it's still my go-to spot in the neighbourhood. The flat white is consistently one of the best in the city, properly made with that silky microfoam that most places can't seem to nail. The staff recognized me even though it had been a few weeks, which honestly makes a big difference when you're just looking for a quiet place to decompress. If you're after a low-key spot that still has real character, this one never lets you down.

A proper & outstanding Croque Monsieur! I embarrassed myself with my constant exclamation about actually having béchamel (& a damned good one), deliciously grilled bread, zesty Dijon, tasty ham.....I am ruined & can't have one anywhere else, ever again.

& the asparagus dish was delish too, top marks!

Mon amie & moi somme venues manger des steaks chez vous & ceux-ci étaient froids. De plus, après les avoir manger nous sommes directement allées aux toilettes & j'ai eu une très mauvaise indigestion & mon amie a vomi. Nous sommes déçu & très fâchées d'avoir dépenser tout cette argent pour recevoir une nourriture pas bien préparée.

L'un de mes restaurants préférés à Montréal. L'ambiance y est chaleureuse & conviviale, tandis que le service est toujours agréable, attentionné & courtois. Les prix sont très raisonnables compte tenu de l'excellente qualité de la nourriture. Le café est délicieux & le brunch est tout simplement remarquable. Comme il n'est pas possible de faire une réservation, je recommande d'arriver tôt lors des périodes plus achalandées. Une excellente adresse que je recommande sans hésitation à tous ceux qui recherchent un repas de qualité à un prix abordable.

La serveuse a oublié de donner notre commande, elle elle a fait une erreur sur la facture (qui me semble volontaire) donc, chargé un menu plus cher .
je l'ai remarque a la maison donc trop tard

Last night 8pm. Host in the chef jacket.
My friend & I asked the host for a table for 5 on the terrace. Host said we were next on the list on for a table & wrote down our name with the number of people. She told us to wait somewhere specific & we did just that. We waited for 40 minutes no problem, we waited & watched a 5 top table clear up. As soon as it did we watched her give it to different customers who had arrived much later than us. We asked her if we were still next on the list & she proceeded to fumble &'double checked' if it was for two people only & apologized as there hasn't been any room for two recently even though we watched her sit multiple pairs. We said no it's 5 people & she said sorry we haven't had space for 5 either. Which was a lie she just kept flopping. Got totally forgotten about & left. We waited a total of an hour for nothing at all 😸
