Bel endroit. La serveuse ne vous averti pas qu'il y a un extra lorsqu'elle vous demande si vous voulez de la mayonnaise épicée pour vos frites. On lui a demandé si la mayonnaise épicée venait avec notre burger & les côtes, & elle nous dit que ont. Les côtes levées complètes sont généreuses mais le seul bémol est qu'il y a trop de sauce & non caramelisée. Nous avons fait le commentaire pour l'extra car nous avions 2 extras & elle nous a dit qu'habituellement elle averti les clients quand l'extra est plus cher qu'un dollar. Elle a enlevé seulement 1$ sur la facture au lieu de 2$.

Belle soirée dans un endroit agréable. Bon choix de bières de microbrasseries. Le service était correct. Côté ambiance on repassera sur la présence d'un chanteur à partir de 18h00. Beaucoup trop fort en terme sonore qui complique de jaser entre amis. Côté bouffe, j'ai trouvé que mon krousti-burger faisait un pitié en comparaison de la photo mais le goût y était. Pour la très petite portion de frites qui accompagne le plat c'est désolant. Quelques belles frites mais beaucoup de petits bouts brûlés. J'ai demandé de changer mes frites. On a dit oui mais oublié de le faire.. & l'endroit n'était pas fort occupé (60%) pour un jeudi soir. On aime l'endroit mais il y a un petit questionnement qui s'installe pour les prochaines fois.
First time we try a Baltazar. Honestly, we were a bit disappointed overall. There's nothing to say about the atmosphere. The terrasse is wonderful. Regarding the waiter, there is nothing to say he was a five star. Unfortunately, the wait time for the food was very long. We got our drinks very quickly, the appetizers as well it was acceptable for the wait time about 15-20 minutes, but for the main plates approximately one hour from when we gave the order. The food overall was acceptable definitely not something with a wow effect. We ordered the spinach dip, which wasn't even warm when it got to the table so the cheese on top was very hard. For the calamari, there is nothing to say, except that the amount of sauce they put for it is definitely not enough. For the main plates, we ordered a trio tartare, which was very good! We ordered two types of burgers, which both were acceptable, but one of them came with sauce & the other one did not come with sauce on the side for the fries. Truly, we don't understand why not all plates of burgers come with sauce for the fries we have been charged for the extra sauce. We also got the ribs, which were very tasty & big for one rack, but the coleslaw salad was not edible at all. Lastly, we ordered half a poutine, which is the balt poutine. Apparently, it's made with garlic, which ruins the whole taste of it. It was one of the worst poutine we've ever had. We paid around 300$ plus tip for four people for all the plates mentioned above plus 4 cocktails, a coffee & a juice which were great. Compare to the competition around, they are definitely the last on our list in the faubourg. We had our first experience & I'm pretty sure it's our last, we won't be going back. Paying a large amount is fine if the food is amazing, which was not the case for this pub resto.
J'ai bien aimé mon burger au poulet croustillant épicé. Bonnes frites. J'aurais aimé qu'on m'avise qu'il y avait un extra pour la mayonnaise épicée qui m'a été offerte. Le service a été long : 15 minutes pour recevoir nos bières en fût. S'il y a un enjeu, c'est ok, juste informer les clients.
Took the Balt Burger with the extra bacon & i wasn't disappointed! The fries were also good but nothing out of the ordinary. The mac & cheese was also good!
Wow! Vraiment une belle expérience! Le repas était DÉLICIEUX! Nous avons commandé des burgers & tout était parfait: les burger, les frites, & même la mayo épicée!
J'ai bien aimé que la musique soit d'un volume raisonnable & qu'on pouvait se parler & se comprendre sans difficulté.
Merci pour ce bon moment qu'on a pu passer ensemble, mon copain & moi!
15 décembre. Première visite au Balthazar de Boisbriand. Rien à dire sur la sélection de bière, c'est agréable d'avoir autant de choix. Burger au poulet épicé, excellent! Le bar est beau, mais l'aménagement de la salle à manger est froid. Perso, j'aime mieux la vibe du Balthazar à Laval.
1) Côté nourriture, nous étions un groupe de 8 & 2 ont pris le plat Fish & Chips. La panure était « mouillée » & molle... ils s'attendaient à avoir une panure croustillante, ce qui a gâché leur expérience. Pour les autres plats servis, c'était très bien, burger, poutine, salade, pâte. 2) Le chansonnier a débuté à 19h00... à partir de ce moment, plus moyen de s'entendre parler. Nous aurions apprécié souper en discutant... & en s'entendant parler... hélas, ce ne fut pas possible. Nous aurions apprécié qu'il débiue son set disons à 21h00... 3) Dernier point, mais non le moindre... l'un de nous était conducteur désigné. Il a bu 3 Boréale Hors sentiers - sans alcool. Votre promotion mentionne ce qui suit « CONDUCTEUR DÉSIGNÉ - On paye tes consommations sans alcool ». & bien au moment de payer, la serveuse ne semblait pas vouloir honorer votre promotion, elle a fait venir le gérant à la table. D'entrée de jeu il a dit « cette promotion s'adresse surtout à notre clientèle plus jeune ». Notre conducteur désigné allait reconduire 3 personnes qui avait consommées suffisamment pour ne pas être en mesure de conduire sécuritaitement. Le gérant a pointé un de ceux-ci & a dit « Lui il pourrait conduire ! ». Bref, il n'a jamais voulu honorer VOTRE promotion... quelle déception! On comprend donc que c'est de la poudre aux yeux & un attrape nigaud. Voilà... la note globale est donc de 2/5 pour cette première expérience à votre restaurant.
Nous sommes arrivées vers 18h00. La lumière était intense. Le chansonnier chantait bien, mais le son était vraiment trop fort. Nous avions beaucoup de difficultés à se parler. Quand il a pris une pause, la musique était également trop forte & le son était variable. En ce qui concerne la nourriture, le burger était difficile à manger. J'ai dû le terminer avec ma fourchette & mon couteau, car le pain était mou & trempé. Pour terminer sur une note positive, la serveuse était souriante & accueillante.

Had an amazing experience at Baltazar Restaurant! The food was fantastic-every dish was full of flavor & beautifully presented. The drinks were equally impressive, with a great selection of cocktails. A special shoutout to the staff at the bar-they were professional, friendly, & made the evening even better. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great food, drinks, & excellent service. Added photo: Bison Burger & Chicken Brie are so good
Super large resto, I ordered the bison burger which was a little to dry for me & the bread was a little stale for my taste. I tried my son's chicken sandwich which was excellent.
