This was our second time coming here, which we were excited about because we didn't stick around long enough the first time to complete the mystery. We came in at 10pm on a Saturday night & waited 15 minutes for our party of 2 to be seated. Not a bad start. It took 10 min to get waters, another 10 to get our menus. Our waitress didn't say anything to us & we waited 20 minutes before we had to flag her down to order our first drinks. Next thing you know, a burlesque show started, which we didn't expect based on the schedule online, so we attributed the slow service to the performance going on.
As we waited a while for our drinks, the large table of 8 beside us were loudly discussing the answers to each of the clues & waving their phone flash lights in order to read. They did this for the next TWO hours & no one came by to say anything to them, despite it being disruptive to our entire half of the room.
While being blinded & spoiled for all of the clues, we got to watch our waitress seat 10 more parties while avoiding our table & the table beside us who were waiting to order their first drinks. Sipping on burnt meringue that smells like an oven fire unfortunately did not elevate the mood (don't recommend the Fantastik cocktail, as pretty as it looks). Eventually (about 50 minutes later) we were able to get our waitress's attention & took initiative to just order our remaining 4 drinks & ask for the rest of the clues. She didn't come back for 10 minutes so we asked another waitress who came by to pick up our empty glasses if we could at least get the last clues.
Because no one had said anything to us, we hadn't realized our phones were necessary to actually solving any of the clues (when we came a year ago everything could be solved with pencil & paper). Once we realized that, we were able to solve everything in 30 minutes, but by that point our timer showed that we'd been sat for 2.5 hours.
Thankfully, all of the AI art meant no artists were harmed in the making of this experience.
Fun concept, but we won't be back for the updated mystery. If you want to go, maybe go on a late weeknight where you have a better chance of being noticed by the staff.
We went on a Sunday, it was busy for a Sunday night but the waitress did an amazing job handling everyone we never had to try hard to get her attention. There was a burlesque show that was fun to watch. The murder mystery game was a good surprise. Great for groups we had good laughs & really enjoyed our time. The drinks were so tasty & the Brie was amazing as well!

Vraiment incroyable comme bar ! Les cocktails sont géniaux & pas trop cher. Le personnel est vraiment très serviable. & puis l'enquête, ludique & divertissante ! On a vraiment passé un très bon moment & je ne manquerai pas de recommander cet endroit 🫶

Ce speakeasy a su nous épater par son équipe de feu, ses cocktails avant-gardistes, son show burlesque, mais surtout son meurtre & mystère élaboré avec génie. 18 cocktails recherché méticuleusement fidèle à la thématique de l'enquête pour trouver le meurtrier. Chaque indice vient avec un cocktail qui vous pousse à déguster des combinaisons de spiritueux audacieuses & exquises.
Que ce soit pour une soirée entre amis ou une date, je vous le recommande fortement!
Une super expérience, je recommande vivement ! L'ambiance des 5 à 9 est top, & les espressos martinis sont tout simplement délicieux comme tous les cocktails d'ailleurs, on sent vraiment la qualité.
Je n'ai pas testé le jeu d'énigmes, mais ça avait l'air génial ! L'accueil est chaleureux, le service au top, & il y a beaucoup de choix. Les prix des cocktails sont totalement justifiés par la qualité des boissons & l'expérience globale 😍😍
This place definitely stands out among the scores of bars in the area. A'true' speakeasy with the vibes, the warmth, & the service. The drinks are very well made- & only a little bit more expensive than the average Montreal cocktail. It's totally worth it to pay a little bit more for the superior quality - & there are some very interesting options on the menu. I requested the server for'an interesting whiskey cocktail' & was blown away with the concoction they made me. It is highly recommended to go in a group & try a hand at the murder mystery game. Definitely a Montreal experience to not be missed!

Incroyable expérience! J'ai passé une merveilleuse fête grâce à Guy notre mixologue très attentionné! Son service hors pair & ses délicieux cocktails nous a permis de vivre une soirée très mémorable! Le concept de résoudre un meurtre & mystère tout en sirotant nos cocktail a dépassé toutes nos attentes. Je recommande grandement cet endroit!
Pour commencer, Shawn le manager a une voix surnaturelle. Je suis allée souvent au 4e mur & j'ai toujours eu beaucoup trop de plaisir à résoudre les énigmes. La carte des cocktails est très amusante & super diversifiée. Le concept est vraiment original, & tout le monde en a pour sa palette. C'est une place parfaite pour découvrir de nouvelles saveurs & des techniques différentes en mixologie. J'adore le décor & la musique, & l'entrée est aussi un plus. Je recommanderais que le doorman demande à ceux qui veulent entrer s'ils veulent ouvrir la porte par eux-mêmes, parce que j'ai été déçue une fois quand j'ai voulu inviter des amis & qu'il nous a ouvert la porte lui-même. À part ça, même si l'énigme est terminée, il y a tellement de cocktails à découvrir, & le menu chaque à une fréquence très appréciable. Les petits plats sont bons & les prix en général sont raisonnables. --- Je suis revenue sur la terrasse chauffée, c'est vraiment agréable & calme. J'ai essayé leur création Tzatziki & c'était incroyable
