This place is unique & an European island in Vieux Port.
The owner Frank & a young gentleman Phillippe made my day.
I imagined I was back in history in Switzerland. I highly recommend the place.View more
FANTASTIQUE!!! Made a dinner reservation here for a Thursday evening for my husband & I. We were seated right away in their gorgeous dining room. High beamed ceilings, stone floors & walls, black tables & chairs, dim lighting, VERY chic & romantic. Our waiter was professional, drinks were delicious, & food was exceptional. Every dish was divine. After dinner we explored the rest of the venue which had a great bar area, large lounge areas, & huge separate dance floor. Would be great to host or go to a party/event here! Looking forward to our next visit & HIGHLY recommend!View more
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Culinary Gem with Rich History! L'Auberge Saint-Gabriel is a true treasure nestled in the heart of Montreal, & my recent visit left me absolutely enchanted! Dating back to the 1600s, the rich history of this restaurant is palpable the moment you step inside. The ambience is simply unmatched-charming, warm, & steeped in character, it provides the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience. The service was phenomenal; the staff were attentive & knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. Now, let's talk about the food! The appetizers were nothing short of incredible-each dish a delightful explosion of flavor that set the stage for the main course. I highly recommend trying their signature offerings; you won't be disappointed! The cocktail menu is a true work of art! Each drink was crafted with precision, showcasing unique flavors that perfectly complemented our meal. To top it all off, we indulged in a fine bottle of wine selected by their amazing sommelier, who guided us to the perfect choice to elevate our dining experience. Overall, L'Auberge Saint-Gabriel is a must-visit for anyone seeking a remarkable meal in a stunning historical setting. I can't wait to return for another enchanting evening!View more

The atmosphere was great! A very old building in old town Montreal. The menu was varied & the dishes we had were awesome. Try the stuffed eggplant. The calamari dish was awesome as well. Ask for Elysa, she was the best server. She made our dining experience even better. Highly recommend this restaurant!View more

Really good MTL a table experience I highly recommend trying it The whole family enjoyed everything We want to go back to try the full menu instead of the table d'hote But can't say enough good things about the food. It wasn't cheapView more
October 2023 dinner. First, is the venue itself… not just historic as the oldest restaurant in North America (300 years), it is simply a beautiful place to dine. Two perfect Martinis (one with Basil oil), a dozen oysters with a glass of white Burgundy, roasted cauliflower, & Cornish game hens with a bottle of Cote du Rhone. Superb! Server Sam was efficient but not hovering, service was perfect. It is expensive, but if you want a real treat I highly recommend.View more
