Je suis une Fan de Viande mais sincèrement j'ai jamais mangé autant de viande de ma Vie ! Le restaurant à une ambiance très décontractée très simple menu simple. MAIS SI TU VEUX DE LA VIANDE CEST LA MEILLEURE VIANDE MANGÉE. WOW 10/10 Bravo!!!

As a South African my dream was to experience Texan Brisket.
Never have I ever thaught that I will experience it here in Montreal.
The first Brisket I tasted earlier today at a differenf restaurant was like normal cold meat.
The brisket & ribs at Latucca, was the best meat I have ever tasted!!!!
South Africans knows meat, but this is a bucket list experience !!!
Tender, juicy & amazingly tasty, together with the smoked beans & cabbage salad.
This is a bucket list visit you MUST experience if you enjoy meat !!!!!!!!!

Ribs, jerk food, viande effiloché name it. Tout pour l'amoureux du bbq food. Belle portion bien grillé bon prix, service très correct, la place est simple & couzy mais bien propee

Run away, unless you enjoy being greated with "F... Off"
The second time there...first time we were not that "lucky" to stumble over the "faimous chef" , so everything was ok. Oh well 2nd time...we were not that lucky... we were greeted by the "faimous" chef/owner John Lattuca with the traditional canadian greeting "F... Off" because we had the "courage" to try to use a coupon bought on My Radio Shop website & steeping in the "faimous establishment" without a reservation!!!...which BTW there was not mentioned anywhere, coupon nor site.
I have to mention that we arived there ar 5:15 PM (according to the schedule posted on their website they were opening at 5) & a waitress told us to come back at 6:00 because they are not open yet!
We also mentioned that we have a coupon & we just want the barbecue to go & nobody told us that it is not possible on a Saturday. So we came back at 6:30...big mistake. John was extremely pissed off that we had the guts to step in without a reservation & "on top" using a coupon...when he is soooo busy ... BTW the restaurant was completly EMPTY. He was extremely rude & he literally started to swear & asked us that if we want to be served we have to go & come back in another 30 min because he is very busy.
The only thing I have to say is that the chef/owner John Lattuca is the most rude, shameless, unhappy person I've ever seen in my whole life. Looks like the job is too much for him & gets the worst out of him.
Dear John, do you have any idea how many great restaurants are in Montreal, that beside having an amazing food they actually have owners that know how to behave & they are real professionals? Believe me, a lot! I've been in a couple of restaurants on this planet, & especially in Montreal & there is no reason to ever step again in Lattuca's barbeque. & for anybody thinking to go there...think twice.
Mon ami "Tom Brady", tu devrais plutôt te tenir dans tes fameux restaurant si "fameux" qui vont te servir un steak/assiette qui a prit 15 minutes de préparation/cuisson et qui va te couter 50-60$ l'assiette (pas sur qui vont prendre ton coupon par contre). T'as fort probablement pas jasé avec John (EXTRÊMEMENT simpathique en passant! Quand on s'annonce pas à l'improviste... avec des ti-coupons en plus!!!), car t'as AUCUNE idée du travaille que ca lui demande pour servir cette incroyable viande que tu trouveras à nul par ailleurs dans TOUS tes resto de montreal. En connais tu des resto où leur chefs doit passer sa nuit au complet à se lever aux heures pour s'occuper de la cuisson qui prend 14h, amener la viande au resto, pour ensuite servir ses clients!? Et doit recommencer la nuit d'après!? Et tu lui demandes de ne jamais perdre le sourire quand des gens se présentent sans réservations avec leur ti coupons!? Je ne sais pas ce que tu fais dans la vie "Tom Brady" (surement pas quart arriere des Pats entk), mais t'as pas idée du travail que lui fait. On peu s'attendre à ce que John soit parfois fatigué/cerné... et au au lieu de se plaindre comme t'as fait on devrait se sentir privilégié d'avoir la chance de pouvoir goûter à cette viande incroyable qui demande une très longue cuisson et être servi peu après (donc doit restreindre ses quantités à ce qui va être mangé tout suite le lendemain)! Et à un prix tellement bas en plus!!!! Tu me fais rire avec "we had the courage"... J'avoue que j'aurais été gêné moi aussi me présenter avec mon coupon sans réservation sachant ce que ca prit pour cuire cette viande!
We were a group of 9 & we unanimously loved the food. This place is all about the food - bbq food that is. The service is like no other, & the owner is passionate about what he does. Truly a go-to place.
Lattuca is the best BBQ restaurant you'll find in your life. Awsome staff, awsome owner, awsome food, awsome price... this place is awsome did & will continue to recommend this place.

on en fait meme pendant l'hiver & c'est de loin la meilleure bouffe que j'ai mangé. Tout était excellent. La viande est vraiment tendre

C'est de loins le meilleur BBQ que j'ai mangé. Tout était incroyablement bon: le brisket, les ribs de boeuf, le porc éffiloché, les beans & la salade de choux. Le service était excellent. John Lattuca, le propriétaire a pris le temps pour nous parler & nous expliquer ce qu'il offre. La serveuse prenais soins de s'assurer que nous avions tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Tout le monde était très amical. Vous devez absolument essayer cette place pour le diner ou le souper. C'est la place à aller si vous voulez du vrai BBQ. Montréal a enfin trouvé son Pitmaster.
