We hosted our wedding & rehearsal dinner here & couldn't have had a better experience. We felt very taken care of from beginning to end by our coordinator Cléa - her efforts & care for us went above & beyond! Our guests were complimentary of the food & service; everyone had a fantastic time. Would highly recommend!
We recently had the pleasure of coordinating a Persian-Western wedding at L'Espace Canal, & we had a wonderful experience with the venue & the entire team.
From the planning stage, Alex, the venue coordinator, was consistently helpful, responsive, & clear in explaining all the details & options available to us. It was genuinely a pleasure working with her throughout the planning process.
On the wedding day, Toni, who was overseeing the event, was also very professional, attentive, & supportive. The staff, including Isabelle & the rest of the team, were welcoming, helpful, & always ready to assist whenever something was needed. Their positive attitude & professionalism made the coordination process much smoother.
The food was excellent & was prepared exactly as discussed during our food tasting. The team did a great job accommodating the details of a Persian-Western wedding & delivering the experience we had planned for the couple & their guests.
Overall, I truly enjoyed working with the L'Espace Canal team & really appreciated their professionalism, flexibility, & support throughout the event. I would be very happy to work with them again on future weddings & events.
We held the rehearsal dinner for my brother's wedding at L'Ambroisie & L'Espace Canal & it was such a magical night! In fact, a few guests said while they loved the wedding, there was no beating L'Ambroisie & L'Espace Canal! The venue itself is lovely. It is the perfect atmosphere for an intimate gathering. Maurice the wedding planner from Omega Design Events was also incredible to work with. From helping us plan to executing the day of, his customer service skills were top notch. Whether you are looking to book a baby shower, a small gathering with friends, or a wedding, L'Ambroisie & L'Espace Canal will not disappoint! & Maurice will make sure every detail is handled with care! :)
Had dinner at L'Ambroisie with a friend. European style decor with dark more moody lighting. Was just us so the service was very quick & helpful! I'm sure it's always like that though.
Escargot was very good. French onion soup was tasty but the croutons were a bit too crisp/burnt - broth was good though & that's the deal breaker usually.
We both had steak bavette which was very good. Chose blue cheese & port sauce to go with it. Amazing.
Attention aux passes de stationnement si vous réservez pour un événement. On m'avait proposé cela pour mes invités, mais à la fin, j'ai dû payer des frais de service & des taxes sur les passes de stationnement aussi. Au final, ces espaces de stationnement sont revenus vraiment plus chers que si mes invités avaient payé leur stationnement individuellement par eux-mêmes à la borne extérieure.
Le reste de l'événement s'est bien déroulé. La nourriture était bonne & le service aussi.
My son is getting married here. But what people don't know anybody could go there at the restaurant, which is great. & prices are decent. & I have to tell you, Amber, makes a hell of a good sangria. Yes, it is a place where they host a lot of events, but it's also a restaurant with a big terrasse. Right by the water, just go & check it out. I strongly recommend it.

Our coordinator, Alexandra, guided us throughout the entire year. She answered every question quickly, supported us through each detail, & made the planning process feel easy & reassuring.
On the day of the wedding, we had Cléa coordinating , & she was incredible. Her energy, kindness, & calm confidence made the whole day run flawlessly. She set everything up beautifully, kept everything on track, & was so collaborative & lovely to work with.
Tony, your service was exceptional! You checked on us throughout the night, made sure we were always taken care of, & added such a thoughtful touch to the evening.

We just had our wedding here, what a phenomenal venue. Excellent support from Alex & Clea during the planning process & day of coordination. The food was excellent, all of our guests raved about the meals & canapes. It's a stunning location right on the Lachine canal, we had our cocktails outside & so many of our guests were taking photos as the location is very picturesque. We took the string lights, they added such a nice touch. Highly recommend
