We recently had our wedding engagement lunch here, & it was such a beautiful experience. The Sadya was absolutely delicious - every single item was so well-prepared & full of flavor🤤. The entire event was organized so smoothly, & everything went beyond our expectations.

We had an amazing experience with Shashi Kumar & Swati. We had organized a lunch for a group of 30, a full fledged South Indian meals served on Banana leaves. Which was so nostalgic & sumptuous.
The quality of food was excellent & served with lot of affection, which touched the heart of our guests too.

One of the best South Indian meals we've had in a long time!
The food was fresh, hot, & truly soul satisfying. Our experience was made even more special with their thoughtful hospitality, they graciously accommodated us despite having a party scheduled shortly after.
We genuinely savoured every bite from the variety of delicious chutneys to the flavourful sambar. We tried the Podi Masala Dosa, Mysore Masala Dosa, & Onion Masala Dosa, & each one was outstanding. Idlis were quite a big portion & we even took some along.
A big thank you to the team for their warmth & incredible service. We left with happy hearts & full stomachs 🙏

Wonderfull experience we ordered Tiffin or mini thali that had a small dosa one Indy & one vada with suji halwa & upma type soft semolina meal. The taste was just wow & authentic presentation
Loved the dosa that was not too oily as it then feels heavy after eating
The red chilli 🌶? chutney made the food more delicious for those who like to add spicy

authentic South Indian food in Montreal, Lakshana's Chettinad is a must-try. The restaurant specializes in Chettinad cuisine, known for its bold spices, rich gravies, & unique South Indian flair.
I tried the Chicken Chettinad, mutton biryani, & a masala dosa - everything was packed with flavor & tasted homemade. The Chicken Chettinad had that signature peppery kick, & the biryani was aromatic with tender meat & just the right level of spice. Dosa was crispy & came with fresh sambar & chutneys.
It's clean & comfortable. Service was friendly.
