via LibroCome here for special occasions with my staff. As usual the waiters & food was great. I was shocked the next day when i looked closer at the bill to put in for expense, as 2 cognac that were had by me & my CFO who is leaving to go back to Ireland was a whopping $80, my little sniffer after the meal cost me more than my actual salmon choice. BAD on me for not knowing prices - but this left, pardon the pun, a bad experience at the very end. Maybe in the future for neophytes like me the waiters can simply bring the drink menu so no one gets a nasty surprise. I'm sure I'll be going back as one of my employees has retired & whenever we're a smaller group, my team really like the place.. Our accounting dept... unfortunately will not understand my error so I guess the drinks are on me.. :)

My husband & I have been to La VERITÀ several times & are NEVER disappointed.
Food is always delicious. The desserts to die for. Servers are polite, professional & attentive.

To be honest I never leave google reviews, but La Verità is definitely a restaurant everyone should try at least once in their lives. The customer service & the drinks are A1 but the food is what steals the show. Looking forward to being there more often.View more

It was our first time there last night. We were celebrating my husbands 60 th birthday. Since the moment I spoke to Johnny on the phone to reserve, until the very end including a dessert with sparkles for hubby, it was an amazing experience! Alain was our waiter & was incredible). The beautiful hostess was also very kind & helpful. We will definitely be going back !
Ps. My son who never eats with appetite, devoured the calamari & flank steak.

Excellent service from Stéphanie for my boyfriend's 41st Birthday on Friday September 15th.
We had cocktails, wine, appetizers, the main course was hard to choose & you know how it is.... You always wish you had picked the first choice... (which was the Ossobucco ) Even the second choice which was the Risotto with fungi & cream & unicorn whispers====they will never admit it but they use it as a secret ingredient
So I had the Ricotta Gnocchi topped with Burrata. Still good bug I'm never really hungry by the time we get to our main courses.... Not after 3 appetizers & sometimes bread
It was awesome. Stéfan was very pleaded.
Stephanie gets mentioned in a lot of reviews because she is a pro & also quick, efficient & the right amount of talking back .

via LibroWhen in June for my birthday, we were a party of 5. Had a wonderful time, spent over $500. Went back in August & waiter was not happy with his tip & was very rude. Will not be returning. Will go somewhere where our business is appreciated thank you.
