I went for the all-you-can-eat tacos last Tuesday & wasn't disappointed. Honestly, I enjoyed all the flavors available in the rotation. That said, I do think the variety is a bit limited: birria, carnitas, steak, chorizo, plus a vegetarian option if you ask. Everything tasted good, even the birria - although it didn't really resemble any birria I've had before (it felt more like meat in a tomato-based sauce), but still enjoyable.
One thing that seems pretty standard for all-you-can-eat taco spots in Montreal is that you only get the tortilla & the meat - no cheese, guacamole, or sour cream included. Even so, the price is great for what you get. The'spicy' sauces they offer are actually really good, especially the green one.
Nice atmosphere, very Latin vibe. Service was good - I really liked our server, with that warmth & friendliness that only us Latinos seem to have 🙂
Insane that this restaurant doesn't have atleast 4.7-5 stars. I am an avid taco enjoyer in Montreal. I look for the best birria tacos. This place is definitely a top 2 for taste & #1 for value!! Birria tacos are expensive here but haven't found better price to flavour value. Amazing vibes, great ambiance, service is quick, & attentive. Would recommend & obviously will be back (probably once a week)

I went just for margaritas on Thursday, but they made me order food. The margaritas look big in the videos, but on Thursdays they're smaller than usual. Not really recommended 🍸❌
On y va parce qu'on a entendu parlé ou s'est fait dire que c'était bon ….. pas certain ! Le tout est bien ordinaire …. Ben ordinaire . Une bière mexicaine a 10$ Ouhein pas certain . Service rapide mais incertain en anglais . Bref je ne recommande pas l'ambiance est plate & sans cachet , une cafétéria quoi. Allez au El Capital l'autre côté de la rue & déjà vous serez ailleurs
Nous avons bien mangé à un prix raisonnable. Je recommande les tacos birria avec fromage & le burrito al pastor. Le service était un peu lent, mais la serveuse, très sympathique.
Nourriture délicieuse mais portions un peu petite. Par contre les tarifs étaient résonnable pour la portion. Gardez donc en tête d'avoir le temps de recommander un 2e choix ou déjà prendre plusieurs choses.
Amazing experience, 100% recommended, the service is 10/10, Betsabeth is truly an amazing waiter & was so attentive. Food was very good, Margaritas were delicious & great price point. You can't go wrong coming. Highly reccomend!
One of the most underrated spots in Montreal for sure. The service is impeccable. The place looks gorgeous. Everything is great. The food is simply amazing. The servers are familiar with their menus & can help you make your choice which is a nice touch for those who are sometimes struggling to make their mind up about what they want to eat. I'm not sure whether or not it is an everyday occurrence, but if you happen to be there when the mariachi band is, prepare for amazement. Their music is simply beautiful. It enhances the already excellent atmosphere & contributes to making the vibes simply immaculate. If ever it's your birthday or if you're celebrating anything, you let them know & see what they can come up with for you. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to try out Mexican food in a restaurant with amazing vibes.
Une expérience 5 étoiles chez La Toxica ! Je suis allé récemment chez La Toxica sur le boulevard Saint-Laurent, & je dois dire que c'était une expérience mémorable du début à la fin. Le service était impeccable : l'équipe est chaleureuse, attentive & rapide. Dès mon arrivée, je me suis senti accueilli & bien pris en charge. Quant à la nourriture, elle était tout simplement délicieuse ! J'ai opté pour les tacos birria au boeuf, accompagnés de leur fameuse trempette. Chaque bouchée était un pur plaisir, avec des saveurs parfaitement équilibrées & une viande tendre qui fondait dans la bouche. La trempette, riche & savoureuse, a vraiment élevé le plat à un autre niveau. L'ambiance du restaurant était aussi un gros plus : une décoration colorée & festive qui m'a transporté ailleurs le temps d'un repas. En résumé, La Toxica offre une expérience exceptionnelle. Si vous cherchez un endroit où la qualité de la nourriture, du service & de l'ambiance se combinent parfaitement, je recommande vivement cet endroit.

The Birria tacos with their consomé are incredible!! Server Betsabe was extremely kind & she helped us choose great drinks & food. New favourite, highly recommended. Gracias!
The second location to the popular Villeray restaurant. It's still fairly under the radar so no problem to get a table which is great on their $25 all you can eat tacos on Tuesdays & Wednesdays. You have a choice of 5 different tacos for the AYCE menu ( carnitas, steak, pastor, chorizo, & veggie). My favourites were the steak, carnitas, & pastor. You get two sauces on the side & every taco is garnished with onions & coriander with a lime wedge for each taco you order. They are so good & bite sized, my friends & I had 13-15 tacos each & we were so full by the end but so content. For all you can eat it is a great deal. The service is also very fast which is good because they keep the tacos coming. I've also been during non AYCE days & have tried the burrito (huge & flavourful & filling), & the chips & guac (good!), & the steak quesadilla (one of my favourites! so gooey & cheesy). I recommend also getting the hojicha drink! It's milky & refreshing. You can't go wrong with this place. Everything on the menu is good & staff is really friendly. The space is also very big & there's a good variety of tables & booths. Has lots of decorations on the walls & theme music playing.

Les tacos & cocktails étaient absolument excellents. Les crevettes cocktail étaient... Un potage aux tomates avec des crevettes accompagné de biscuits soda. Assez pathétique. Mais tout le reste était 10/10. Excellent prix & bonne ambiance. Je recommande.
Deuxième emplacement de La Toxica qu'on visite, super accueil dès notre arrivée où on nous assoie sur une belle grande table ronde. Margaritas pour commencer: celle à la lime, classique, bien fait, ça goute la tequila. Celle à la mangue encore meilleur avec l'assaisonnement Tajin & Chamoy - unique & délicieux (voir photo). On a pris les tacos birria (sans fromage) : aussi bon que ceux que j'ai mangé à l'autre Toxica, généreuse portion de sauce birria, j'en ai pas mangé des meilleurs à Montréal. Mais à ma surprise, les tacos al pastor sont encore meilleurs. Ce genre de tacos se ressemble d'une place à l'autre mais ici, l'assaisonnement de la viande est meilleur qu'ailleurs. Seule la guacamole était décevante : il manquait de sel & d'ail, ordinaire. C'est le seul défaut que j'ai trouvé qui s'était facile à corriger avec un peu plus d'amour. Service très sympathique & assez rapide. L'endroit n'est pas aussi beau que le local sur St-Hubert mais en revanche, le local est plus grand & on y circule facilement, en plus de ne pas trop entendre les autres tables.
