We were hungry & another nearby taco place was packed. La Toxica quickly sat us, & the vibe seemed good. We ordered birria tacos, chicken tacos e birria ramen. The food came out at the same time as our drinks…very quickly. The beef birria was catastrophically bland. Like unseasoned. Luckily the consommé had a bit of flavor, but these were not good. The birria ramen was okay - basically ramen noodles in consommé with some of the same flavorless beef. Not hugely impressed but it seems like they do good birthday business (there were 6-7 birthday sparklers over the 45 minutes we were there).

I went to the one in Chinatown, not really impressed. Dishes like carnitas nor pozole were available. They said only the one on Jean Talon serve these dishes. Dissatisfied & disappointed. Birria was salty, & is beef birria. On the other hand, tacos were good. Fresh fruit water was delicious. Service is good, friendly & helpful waitress. Good family ambiance. I probably will try the Jean Talon's restaurant. Looking forward to carnitas taste. I hope this will help you.

Two juicy beef birria tacos loaded with melty cheese, topped with fresh onions & cilantro, all wrapped in golden, pan-fried tortillas. Served with a side of rich, slow-cooked consommé - deeply savory, spiced to perfection, & made for dipping. Every bite is a flavor explosion. 😊

Love the quesadillas, specially the beef tongue & the campechana one. The waiters are always smiling & will trest you nicely. The buffet is a must do although for this one it may take a while to get as itnusually gets crowdy

Cool spot for some tacos. Who would've guessed, good tacos in Chinatown. The waitress was also very friendly & told us how to use the beef consomme. I recommend the birria tacos.

What a gorgeous find!! The food was so delicious & decently priced. I shared the guacamole & chips entree & the beef & cheese tacos that came with sides of limes & a soup/sauce to dip the tacos in. Absolutely tasty, the beef was so tender & juicy. The atmosphere is festive & is perfect to celebrate a birthday or just have a party. They have huge cocktails (margaritas,daiquiris,etc.) they even had a karaoke night while we were there plus Mariachis! Everyone working was so nice, what a great find!
