I will start by saying, I have never been deceived by mexican food in my life. But this place was not worth it. When we came in, we got seated immediately but we then proceeded to wait to get our order in & ultimately had to go & get the bussgirl to get a waitress.

When the food came around, my hubby took some camarones tacos… the shrimp had no taste & tacos were blend. I took the plate of chilaquiles &, as someone that eats this often, I was deceived… the frijoles negros were fine but missing taste again.

My critic would be to encourage the direction board to hire more waitresses to help on the main floor. Also, in terms of the food, it lacks flavour & needs more seasoning .

The service was ok when we 1st got there but when it became busy it was another story. We were a group of 7 & 2 of us ordered & appetizer: the food for everyone came at the same time, so we were eating an appetizer as others were eating their mains. Also, they totally forgot my order, I had to get up & tell a waitress as they were too busy to come check on us. When an order finally came to me ( everyone was at my table was done eating) it was the wrong order. I just ate it .
On to the food, it was good, but just good. I have had way better Mexican before.
The atmosphere was amazing, a very good party atmosphere & they has a Mariachi band which was amazing.
I had been told very good things about this place & was disappointed which makes me hesitate to try the other locations.

The all you xan tacos is really good, I am Mexican by birth, was raised in the North East Mexico, I know tacos, believe me. These are the best in Montreal for sure. Amazing place, I plan on visiting often.

One of the most underrated spots in Montreal for sure. The service is impeccable. The place looks gorgeous. Everything is great. The food is simply amazing. The servers are familiar with their menus & can help you make your choice which is a nice touch for those who are sometimes struggling to make their mind up about what they want to eat. I'm not sure whether or not it is an everyday occurrence, but if you happen to be there when the mariachi band is, prepare for amazement. Their music is simply beautiful. It enhances the already excellent atmosphere & contributes to making the vibes simply immaculate. If ever it's your birthday or if you're celebrating anything, you let them know & see what they can come up with for you. Would 100% recommend to anyone who wants to try out Mexican food in a restaurant with amazing vibes.

Been wanting to go to the Mile End location for a while, so was excited to see they opened up closer to me downtown. The food here is smashing, really loved my burrito. Great salsas with proper thickness, not too watered down like some places. The space is put to great use - lots of seating & vibrantly decorated in Mexican splendor. The place has a very authentic Mexican vibe to it, it actually strongly reminded me of a place I tried in Mexico City. I also love how they tied the exterior art into Chinatown to pay homage to the neighbourhood. The service was fantastic as well. Not hard on the wallet either. I'd love to return for the AYCE special sometime. They got hit with some bad PR at one point but if you look into the details of the incident, it wasn't really directly on them & if it was, it was just one individual not the entire business. A lot of these 1 star reviews are fake reviews trying to be SJW's on here, I would not let those deter you from coming.

We randomly decided to try this place on a Saturday afternoon. One word. WOOOW. Food was excellent & our waitress ,Betzabe, was amazing. If you haven't tried it yet. Make this your next mexican food destination.
