A favorite! Quite literally loved our waitress (Louana). Definitely ask for ground pepper.
Went to LA Spada on a Tuesday night & it had a really vibrant atmosphere. Staff was friendly... got to meet the owner. Started with the house made foccacia... & it was great. We ordered the Gnocchi with mushrooms. Very good... the Cacio & Pepe, & The chicken cutlet. All very good. I really liked the chicken because it wasn't your traditional basic chicken parm dish. There were a variety of flavors to it. Wait staff was friendly & attentive. If I had to really nitpick to find something to improve on... it would possibly be drink times...but even then when a resto is full its to be expected. All in all a great addition to the neighborhood, & I can't wait to go try more dishes soon!
We went to La Spada for my daughter's birthday-she's a big fan of Italian cuisine. I didn't have any particular expectations going in, but we had an amazing experience. The food was outstanding-the best pasta I've ever had, especially the squash ravioli with sage butter, which was even better than in Italy! The Bresaola, octopus, braised beef pappardelle, Focaccia, & dessert were all divine. One of the owners, Scott, even took the time to come & greet us. The service was impeccable yet unpretentious, & the atmosphere was fantastic, even on a rainy Tuesday night. I highly recommend it! We didn't get to try the tortellini in broth, so we'll definitely have to go back. ;)
Very pretty place & very happening for a Tuesday evening. Service was great. Drinks were excellent. I loved the pepperoncini (a spicy twist on a good martini). We had the eggplant parmigiana which was my favorite dish , the caccio e pepe & the ravioli francese. Everything was very tasty I just didn't find the pasta dishes were hot enough. Overall good experience.
Our waitress Julia was literally the sweetest & the best! Definitely ask to be served by her! Food & vibes is amazing! I recommend 100%
Nourriture excellente. Super service. Deux points à améliorer à mon avis, Air clim vraiment trop froide & la musique trop forte, difficulté à entretenir une conversation. Je vais y retourner.

New favorite spot in town! The service, food, ambiance were perfect, our waitress Julia was absolutely lovely! We Can't wait to come back! Thank you for a great experience!
First time here after hearing about this place through chef Steve. Went with wife & friends & family visiting from France The decor & ambiance is nice. As it's on notre dame parking will be a bit an issue but you can find few spots inside. We shared few appetizers: - burrata insalate - polpo alla griglia: nice grilled octopus on chickpeas & capers - Fritto misto: a mix of fried calamari shrimps cod & veggies - Caesar salad: they put the bacon in a cup & not mixed so it was easy to put away. - tortellini in brodo: cheese tortellini & they pour chicken broth on it. Delicious The main meal we tried the : - Gnocchi funghi & tortellini awesome & must try Didn't try dessert but next time hopefully
Absolutely unbelievable experience, down to the smallest detail. The music felt cinematic, the decor was impeccable, the food was exquisite & dreamy with perfect portion sizes, & the staff made you feel at home. A new favourite which we hope to return to for years to come!
Just opened about 1-month ago but this place already feels like it's been here for years. The staff were super friendly, attentive, & well versed with the menu & wine selections. Our waitress was Absolutely fantastic. Her food recommendations were perfect & the wine pairing was spot on with our preferences. We will definitely be back. My only comment was that the music was a little too loud. One notch lower would have been perfect cause you want a good vibe musically but you don't want to shout all night across your table.
Bring out the famiglia, this place is a dream of a spot, & not just because it's got a slick negroni bar to greet you when you come through the front door.
Food was amazing! Highly recommend the ragu! Service was a little slow, but they were sooooo busy so we didn't mind.
