Service was absolutely impeccable, our waiter was amazing & made it a really enjoyable experience. As for the food, I've had better. The carbonara & vodka penne were mid, nothing special. The mushroom special & calamari were great though. For $75 per person, I would likely eat somewhere else 💜
Really enjoyed our time at La Spada!
Great food & excellent service!
Would highly recommend!
Big thank you to Kevin our waiter who was fantastic!
Great atmosphere, the fish was a garlic lemon buttery soft melt in your mouth experience.. great price.. hats off to the chef & the team. Obsessed with great food.. We'll b back soon.
Loved the ambiance & service. We were a party of roughly 20 & did the 6 course meal press all the way. Got to taste some incredible Mozzarela. Would definitely recommed if you want some authentic italian.
This is my third time eating at La Spada & the experience is still amazing. Everything is tasty & flavorful. Outstanding service & great vibes. Too bad we were too full. I have missed their yummy tiramisu. Next time.
La Spada offers a truly enjoyable dining experience We started with the burrata & the eggplant parmigiana both were full of flavor, & well balanced. The pasta with duck was rich & perfectly cooked, pairing wonderfully with our wine selection. We also enjoyed two martinis, which were expertly made & complemented the meal nicely.
What really elevated the experience was the service. Our waiter was extremely friendly, attentive, & genuinely welcoming, which made the evening even more pleasant. The atmosphere is cozy & inviting, with a great energy throughout the restaurant. You can feel that the whole team enjoys what they do.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for excellent Italian food, warm hospitality, & a relaxed yet refined ambiance in Montreal.
The service was good & the staff were friendly, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing!
The focaccia was cold & tough rather than soft. The meatballs weren't anything special; they lacked spices, leaving only the taste of plain meat & tomato sauce. The calamari was far too oily, & the mushroom balls were tasteless (especially if you try them without the truffle cream). Lastly, the mozzarella pesto pasta (the pasta of the day) was very chewy, despite being told it was fresh
Had the most amazing meal last night at La Spada. Sat at the bar & everything from the service to the vibe was absolutely spot on. Warm, welcoming, & effortlessly cool. Can't wait to go back again soon.
The atmosphere is nice but the food is okay for the price. The Polpette meat was not good with a sticky texture

La Spada is an absolute gem.
We had the most incredible experience from start to finish, thanks especially to Chanelle - truly one of the best bartenders & servers we've ever had. Her energy, attention, & creativity made the night unforgettable. The drinks she crafted were mind?blowing.
& the food… wow. The homemade pappardelle was on another level - rich, fresh, & easily one of the best pasta dishes I've had anywhere. Every bite felt like a little trip to Italy.
If you're looking for amazing Italian food, exceptional service, & a warm, welcoming atmosphere, La Spada is a must. We can't wait to go back.
An absolute gem! The service is incredible, our waiter frank was super sweet, attentive & the front of house is so on top of their game, always filling your drinks, cleaning up, getting you what you need. The food was incredible & the decor & holiday touches felt so homey. Will absolutely be back!
I had dinner last night at this spot.
Where to start!! It was beyond my expectations.
The food was excellent, the décor was fancy & elegant, & the waiters were dressed in a Gatsby vibe (nothing vulgar).
The service was excellent. It was my friend's birthday - they offered a dessert, & they even took the time to prepare a special cocktail & offered it to us!
I met the manager; very nice & friendly.
I didn't feel the urge to consume more food or drinks, unlike other places in Montreal.
Definitely a restaurant to go back to again & again.
We were there last night for my husband's birthday celebration. The restaurant has cosy atmosphere & great service. We ordered the calamari mix fried appetizer dish; it was very salty, seafood pieces had too much batter & they were overcooked, calamari wasn't tender & the dish was overpriced. I ordered the duckragú pappardelle, it was delicious but very salty. My husband ordered the day's special square spaghetti with beef but it was very very salty. We switched the plates halfway so we both could have less salty & better dish. I still could rate 4 stars, but unfortunately they even forgot to put a little candle on my husband's dessert although I kindly asked them in a message on opentable a couple of hours earlier & they replied me as'no problem'. When his dessert arrived on table with no candle, I was disappointed. Anyway we had a great night. I wish the dishes weren't so salty:(
