I couldn't tell you whether the service or the food was better: it was that good. My evening at La Sauvagine was top notch. I had three wonderful game medallions, each in their own sauce, & had a great French merlot with it. The creme brulee at the end was superb. All in all, a very enjoyable evening.Voir plus

Yes. Outstanding food & service with attention to detail. This is the place for French Cuisine in old Montreal. Every year we visit family in Quebec & now we start our vacation in Montreal. We started with a bottle of wine then a few items from the tapas menu. Duck & escargot. Exceptional. Finishing with French onion soup & squid, prawns & octopus. Perfectly seasoned & prepared. Nous sommes venu dans ce restaurant plusieurs fois. Le service & la cuisine sont absolument excellents. Les serveurs & le patron sont très agréables & attentifs. Je ne comprends pas les avis 1 ⭐, très honnêtement il faut avoir une mauvaise journée pour mettre une notation pareille à ce restaurant, quand bien même vous seriez habitué au Ritz Carlton ou au Sofitel.Voir plus
