Since 1999, the restaurant LA PRUNELLE is a bring your wine that imposes itself on the popular Duluth in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. great BYOW resto in the Plateau...reasonably priced, cozy dining space, highly recommend the grilled octopus & the lamb sirloin... service can be a bit spotty though

La nourriture était excellente, la présentation aussi, le service cependant laissait à désirer. Quoi que le serveur, à notre table était courtois & sympathique, il parlait continuellement au téléphone, ce qui donnait l'impression qu'il était indifférent à nous.
Somme toute une belle expérience!
This place is located on a quiet street not to far from old Montreal. The food was very good & the staff friendly & efficient. Go for the fixed price tasting menu & don't forget to bring your own wine. Cheers

Endroit débordé avec du monde. Qualité de la bouffe était superbe, par contre le resto avait clairement besoin de plus de personnes pour servir les clients

Le service était excellent & la nourriture était délicate. Des fois une petite cache de sel aurait suffit mais rien à reproche
Service plutôt lent (près d'une heure d'attente avant qu'on nous serve l'entrée), mais il faut dire que le restaurant était bondé. Par contre la bouffe était vraiment délicieuse!
Tous les plats qui nous ont été servis hier étaient remarquables. Des huîtres légèrement assaisonnées, en passant par les filets de Doré avec encre de Seiche & purée de pois verts sucrés, les ris de veau croustillants (& moelleux à l’intérieur) sur des pâtes amalgamées avec une crème d’oursin, un contre-filet INCROYABLEMENT tendre servi avec une purée de pommes de terre & fromage goûteux jumelés avec champignons & croustillant de Kale, pour enfin avoir un super dessert sur un plateau d’ardoise composé de sorbets de carotte avec gelée de pomme & d’argousier… Enfin, c’était vraiment bon sur toute la ligne!
I made an online reservation, two hours before this reservation I was called & advised the restaurant was closed. I have eaten there before & the food was good, however this situation was extremely inconvenient.
The food is esquisite & the atmosphere is romantic. The appetizer was superb &, when they ran out of creme brulée, the chef prepared something special with lemon tart & mascarpone. The porc was delicious, but I found that the one given to my patner had an excess of fat. A little overpriced but apportez votre vin, which results in a reasonable bill.
Trés bonne ambiance, service trés aimable & souriant. Les entrées & plats succulents ! Mais les desserts étaient un peu décevant. Une tarte citron destructurée remplacait la crème brulée & c'est dommage, trop lourd & pas au niveau du reste pour la présentation. Nous recommandons !
