Since 1999, the restaurant LA PRUNELLE is a bring your wine that imposes itself on the popular Duluth in the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. The chef conveys her passion in each of her dishes, working with products of Quebec dotted with Mediterranean accents. Respecting both the producers of the province and seasonal changes, the menu leads us into an adventure filled with happy detours. One feels immediately at home in this lively and friendly restaurant, overseen by Annie the co-owner and her team. The place is a beautiful and charming space, with large windows that open completely in the summer. One thing is certain, LA PRUNELLE is a very good value for money and is surely one of the finest dining experiences on the Plateau Mont-Royal.

The dining room is a perfect space, with the windows open allowing the summer breezes coming down from the mountain down Duluth. We were enjoying the evening from the first moment.
We saw reviews saying the salmon tartare was bland but it wasn't. The ris de veau was crispy & delicious. We also had the octopus & a creme brulee. We've been here time & time again. The point of this place is to enjoy yourselves in a classic but casual dining room, & if you can't do that at a BYOW place nothing will satisfy you. The couple who run it do their best to give a great experience. Roll with it & you'll have a great time.View more

Nous avons commandé l'assiette pain en entrée pour aller avec le plat de champignons (très bon d'ailleurs). Nous étions 4, mais il y avait que 3 tranches. Nous devions diviser 3 tranches & 4 parts. :View more

I was impressed with the service: I mentioned an unusual dietary restriction when asking about the mains, & before the dessert the waitress came by to explain which ones I would be able to eat, which I thought was very considerate of her. Food was very tasty but with smaller portions, you should get a starter along with the main.View more

One of our favourite spots in the city! We've returned many times & it never disappoints. The atmosphere is chic yet welcoming, with a gorgeous view of the lively street through the large windowfront - such a unique setting.
It's a BYOW French restaurant, which we love, & the food is always excellent. On our last visit, I had the salmon tartare with fries & salad - beautifully plated & delicious - & my boyfriend really enjoyed his classic steak frites. The menu has something for everyone, & the cooking is consistently top-notch.
The service is always professional & attentive without being overbearing. It's clear this place has been around for years for a reason - quality across the board. Highly recommend for a date night or a special meal with friends.View more
