Afficher toutchinese(14) all you can eat(11) favorite(9) shrimp(9) dumplings(9) dishes(9) recommend(8) peanut butter(7) fresh(7) peanut(7) toast(6) sauce(6)As I await with my buddy in anticipation of the greatest shrimp toast to get dropped graciously on the table by our authentic waiter Bob.'Hello sire, we meet again' - I said to the piece of Shrimp Toast gingerly, before devouring it & bathing the next piece in its red fruité sauce. The sesame crunch, coupled with the intently mashed & freshly served shrimp pâté filling, supported by a buttery crispy base… I drool… *beat* My eyes roll back in pure delight. Bob asks us if we want anything else besides the Fortune Cookies & I respond:'Yeah, the recipe & a box to go please' Bob nods.
Damn if this isn't still a great restaurant. Hadn't been in 20 years & it did not disappoint.
Try the shrimp toast. Their peanut butter dumplings are also very good. Banana fritters...yum.
Can't believe I only just discovered this place. Our 2nd visit was Feb.28th for my sister's birthday. The food is freshly made & delicious. Wonton soup, spring rolls, boneless ribs, crispy beef, shrimp toast, steamed rice, peanut butter dumplings, every dish is delicious. Service is fast & efficient. Staff work together efficiently to ensure great customer service. We intend to go at least once a month. Staff are all good. Shout out to our server Alex a young man with an infectious smile & nice personality. We always make sure to sit in his section. He goes above & beyond to ensure we have a good experience. Tks Alex.
Very popular Chinese Thai restaurant on west island of Montreal, the entrance is on the back of building, through building main entrance for several business, spa, sushi restaurant, bit confusing, & the door of restaurant is not easy to recognize 😀 😜 😉, the food is good, you have two options, all you can eat or pay what you order, you are give pencil & a piece of paper note, write down the number of dish, wait stuff bring the food to your table, they claim general tao chicken is their signature dish, try the dry fried shrimp 🍤 with garlic butter sauce, ask waiting stuff what ethnic Chinese ordered, mostly you will get delicious food, they close at 10 pm, there are fortune cookies & cookies 🍪 with the bill
this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants, my friends & I have been going for almost 2 decades & I must say I've never been disappointed. One of my favorite things on the menu is shrimp toast which I cannot stop eating because it's so delicious & of course beef with black bean sauce those are my two go-to meals. All the food we've tried were delicious & fresh & the service is top-notch, trust me I've being eating for over 60 years!
AYCE menu option available. We always opte fot that option as the choices are incredible. The dishes are excellent, you get over 100+ items to choose from. We love going in a group setting so we get to pick lots of dishes. We discovered some dishes that we would have never tried before (hello shrimp canapés) & absolutely loved them! The AYCE is worth it!
Food was okay but was disappointed to have only gotten 3 shrimps in a 22$ dish. Waiter said this was normal
Arrived here with my wife on Valentine's Day 2019 for a 7:30pm reservation. Sat down & the first question the waiter asked me was how I was paying. A strange question to ask someone before ordering but I answered cash. After 25 minutes my order was placed officially according to our manager (more on that later). We had our entree served around 20 minutes later. At around 9pm our main course never arrived & we witnessed two tables leave due to the main courses not arriving. We were unable to stay any longer as being there for 1.5h without a main course at an all you can eat restaurant is just plain unacceptable. So we decided to leave & asked to be charged for just what we ate. Our soups, shrimp toast, salad, peanut dumplings & a beer. We asked the waiter for the bill & he came back with the full amount 95$. I then told him this was unacceptable & offered him half the bill as there was no service performed. Plus they never even came once to remove the dishes on our table the entire time we were there. The manager refused this offer & demanded we pay the full amount & that if we didn't he would call the cops. I told him this was completely unacceptable & then he threatened to take my license down & chase me down. Talk about customer service here. At 9:30 he brought me my food in a take out bag & out of shear disappointment I paid the full amount. Please stay away from this shameful restaurant & what a true horrible experience for my wife & I to experience on Valentine's Day.
Good service, AMAZING food. The shrimp toast is a definite must, we ordered 4 servings of it, by the buffet option hehe. Only con: very expensive!!!
