La Panzeria delivers a truly authentic Italian experience. The food was excellent-simple, well-executed, & full of flavor.
The focaccia was outstanding, easily one of the highlights of the meal. & a special mention for the Bari Ice Tea-a cocktail I had never tried before & an absolute must-try.
Great food, great vibes, & a spot I'd happily return to. Highly recommended.
Sono un ragazzo italiano, era da più di 2 settimane che sono venuto in vacanza tra Ottawa e montreal e mi mancava davvero tanto il cibo italiano e finalmente l'ho trovato, cibo buonissimo, servizio perfetto, molto gentili come se fossi in Italia. Focaccia fuori di testa e pasta da urlo, anche i dolci molto buoni!
Definitely worth the hype. Also had this place recommended to me by an Italian person so it is authentic. Pasta was a bit unevenly cooked, but both focaccias were 10/10 (I do have a preference for the fig one)

Eravamo andate al parco di Mont Royal e volevamo mangiare qualcosa di italiano. Posto trovato su internet ed è stata una bellissima scoperta....bell'ambiente, la focaccia e il panzerotto ottimi, anche il panino con il capocollo buonissimo, servizio veloce e gentile. Proprietario simpatico...ci siamo fermate anche a fare due chiacchiere. Posto stra consigliato da provare!! Complimenti!
I heard about this place 3 years after meeting the owners & I cannot believe I waited so long to try it.
Both the service & the food was impeccable. I wasn't sure which of the focaccias I wanted to try & they let me do half/half so I got to try both. They accommodate very well & have beef options if you can't/don't eat pork.
Every single person in that restaurant has such a warmth to them that makes you feel so welcome. Definitely making this a weekly stop.
My first visit to La Panzeria was nothing short of extraordinary, & I can confidently say it won't be my last. I had the pleasure of trying La Mortazza Tua! & Chef Figa! dishes, & the remarkable contrast of flavors created a sensational culinary experience. As a Colombian who fell in love with Italian food, I truly appreciated the authenticity & passion in every bite. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Marco for his excellent recommendation. La Panzeria has truly set the bar high for exceptional dining.

Truly a wonderful dining experience, with the best panzerotti I've ever eaten! Such spectacular warm & welcoming service, with an authentically Italian spirit! The BRAN CAIA was a beautiful full bodied red & the perfect complement to our meal. I'm definitely coming back with my wife to try the rest of the menu. Loved it!

Durante la mia recente vacanza a Montreal, ho avuto il piacere di scoprire un vero gioiello della ristorazione: **La Panzeria**. Fin da subito, varcando la soglia del locale, mi sono sentito come se fossi stato trasportato in Italia. L'atmosfera calda e accogliente, unita alla cura nei dettagli, ha reso l'esperienza davvero unica. Il vero protagonista di questa avventura culinaria è stato, senza dubbio, il cibo. Ogni piatto che ho assaggiato raccontava una storia di passione e tradizione. I panzerotti, croccanti all'esterno e con un ripieno ricco e saporito, mi hanno riportato alla mente i sapori autentici del Sud Italia. E la pasta? Semplicemente eccezionale. Fatta in casa e cotta alla perfezione, condita con sughi che esplodono di gusto, è stata una vera delizia per il palato. Ma La Panzeria non è solo un ristorante dove si mangia bene, è un luogo dove ci si sente a casa. Un grande merito va a **Pierpaolo**, il giovane imprenditore dietro questo straordinario progetto. Pierpaolo è una persona che, con la sua energia e il suo sorriso, riesce a creare un'atmosfera familiare e accogliente. La sua passione per la cucina italiana e per l'ospitalità si riflette in ogni aspetto del locale, facendoti sentire come un amico di vecchia data appena arrivato per cena. La Panzeria è più di un semplice ristorante: è un viaggio nei sapori autentici dell'Italia, un'esperienza che va oltre il semplice pasto. Se vi trovate a Montreal e desiderate vivere una serata all'insegna della vera cucina italiana, questo è il posto che fa per voi. Io non vedo l'ora di tornare, per rivivere quelle sensazioni e sapori che mi hanno fatto sentire così vicino alla mia terra, pur essendo dall'altra parte dell'oceano. Grazie di cuore a Pierpaolo e al suo team per aver reso la mia visita così speciale. Atmosphere was incredible & the food was amazing! True authentic Italian. The whole staff was very friendly/nice. The homemade focaccia was AMAZING!! I highly recommend eating here.
Wonderful place. The food is AMAZING, super balanced & well seasoned (the foccacias are to die for), the place is small yet cozy, server very patient & knew the menu well & we had a chance to speak with the chef who is definitely a real Italian food connoisseur & is very passionate about what he does. Yes it is not cheap but well worth the freshness of the food & the amount in the plate. Great experience would 100% recommend. Only wish I'd taken more pictures to do it justice.
Wow! Went there with colleagues (group of 8). Very helpful that one of them is Italian & asked for sampling all the favorites. It was DELICIOUS! Not only was the service courteous but fast. Our server didn't need notes or seating map!!! He remembered ALL our drinks' orders 😲 Ambiance is very neighbourhood eatery. Cosy. Mostly young lively but not LOUD 🙏🏾 We want to return. Beautiful discovery. Don't be scared about the fact that it's in a "basement". Nice trick to keep the "habitués" only 😉 Will be returning for sure!
