Tout était délicieux & généreux. La serveuse était accueillante & souriante. Je recommande fortement cet endroit.
La seule chose que j'aurais aimée en plus, ce serait une bière, du thé ou une boisson maison.
J'y retournerai sans hésiter.

A rare gem when it comes to dumplings in Montreal! After trying several dumpling places, I chose this one as my favorite. The atmosphere, the quality of the dumplings, the charm of a restaurant in a house, & the many options make it my top choice. I recommend it to everyone.
A hidden dumpling paradise in Montreal that feels like someone's cozy living room!
The Dumpling Hut in Montreal truly feels like you've stepped into someone's house & magically been handed a plate of some of the best dumplings in Canada. The space is small, warm, & full of charm. It is nothing fancy but has that relaxed & welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay forever. It honestly feels like a secret spot that only locals know about & part of me wanted to keep it that way.
The service was lovely. The staff was kind, calm, & made you feel at home right away. The menu is clear & available in both English & French. The selection of dumpling fillings is surprisingly big with both classic options & some creative ones for the adventurous.
Every dumpling we had was juicy, well-seasoned, & perfectly cooked. Whether boiled or fried, they were absolutely delicious. The dipping sauce? A quiet masterpiece.
The only thing I didn't love was the toilet. It's there & it works but that's about all I can say. Still, when the food is this good, you just laugh it off.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Montreal. Come hungry, bring a friend, & maybe use the restroom somewhere else beforehand.

The Dumpling Hut in Montreal fühlt sich an, als würde man versehentlich in jemandes Wohnzimmer stolpern und dann völlig überraschend einen Teller mit einigen der besten Dumplings in ganz Kanada bekommen. Der Laden ist klein, gemütlich und total einladend. Es ist nichts Schickes, aber man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Ganz ehrlich, es fühlt sich an wie ein Geheimtipp, den nur Einheimische kennen, und ein kleiner Teil von mir möchte, dass das auch so bleibt.
Der Service war wunderbar. Die Mitarbeitenden waren freundlich, entspannt und man hatte sofort das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und auf Englisch und Französisch verfügbar. Die Auswahl an Füllungen ist groß mit klassischen Varianten genauso wie kreativeren, für die etwas Mutigeren.
Jeder Dumpling war saftig, gut gewürzt und auf den Punkt gegart. Egal ob gekocht oder gebraten, sie waren durchweg lecker. Und die Sojasauce dazu war richtig gut abgestimmt.
Einziger Minuspunkt: die Toilette. Sie ist da, sie funktioniert, mehr aber auch nicht. Doch ganz ehrlich, bei so gutem Essen nimmt man das mit einem Lächeln in Kauf.
Eine klare Empfehlung für alle, die in Montreal unterwegs sind. Kommt mit Hunger, bringt am besten noch jemanden mit und nutzt vielleicht vorher noch woanders die Toilette.

Delicious handmade dumplings! The dumpling skin was just the right amount of chewiness & was so smooth & easy to swallow (I know that sounds kinda funny but it was exactly how I liked it!) 10 out of 10 recommend & will definitely come back! You can also purchase frozen ones to take home which you should!
Genuinely my favourite dumplings in mtl. I always get the beef & onion steamed & a cucumber salad. Having tried many dumplings restaurants in mtl this one is by farrrrr the best. Highly recommend. & service is always great & super fast. Also prices are very fai
Transcendent flavours. Ethereal vibes. These may sound like inflated superlatives, but I assure you they are not. I've recommended this place to at least ten friends & family members & they've all also loved it. The menu is succinct, the dumplings are succulent, & the salads are fresh...what more could you ask for in a dumpling joint?!

Good enough for a satisfying fix. The wrapping is not too thick nor too thin & good chewiness. Had the lamb & coriander. Splash of vinegar & you are in business!
Marinated cucumber app is a good way to start your meal. Recommend.
These taste homemade, so do not expect heavily seasonned dumplings from those famous chains.
Price is right & the place is quiet enough to have a hear your table mate. So I will be back for more!
We went for lunch in this little place & it was a very charming experience. As tourists looking to try as many dumplings as places as we could, this was a great spot. The first thing you feel is that you have arrived at a restaurant that is loved by their neighborhood, with a down to earth atmosphere & decoration. The dumplings are freshly made individually at the back of the shop, & you can see them being made. This freshness is noticeable in the food, as you can eat more a lot before feeling full. Really recommend the lamb & coriander dumplings.
I recently tried the cabbage & mushroom dumplings, & they were absolutely delicious! The filling was fresh & well-seasoned, with a perfectly soft wrapper. My friend had the lamb & coriander dumplings & loved the tender lamb paired with the freshness of coriander. To top it off, our server was incredibly kind & attentive, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended!
Do yourself a favour & take that one block turn off St-Laurent Ave & find your way to the Dumpling Hut. Small menu, even smaller floor plan, this tiny place is pumping up killer dumplings. Highly recommended the lamb & coriander, & the egg, tofu & zucchini (pan fried) Tip: check the heat level on the chili oil prior to loading up, it was pretty hot tonight.
This small but lovely restaurant had the best dumplings I've ever had! The woman makes the dumplings by hand right there in front of you as you eat. Highly recommend & although they were very busy the one waitress kept up with everyone there. Just a great place to go for some very delicious dumplings.
Probably the best dumplings I've had in Montreal. Authentic Chinese dumplings. The owner & staff are super friendly. Very charming dining environment. Highly recommended from a long time customer.
It felt like walking into someone's home, in the best way possible. I really appreciated the unassuming, cosy atmosphere & being welcomed with warm smiles. The menu was concise & the food simple, but very flavorful & made with quality ingredients. I highly recommend the shrimp & zucchini steamed dumplings!
